I am dog person all day long. But at this point in my life i have no "space" to put dog in my life. So i was thinking about getting a cat in next couple of months.

I find cats more family friendly as they dont need to be walked outside.

I think that makes them easier to take care of if you don't have a lot of time to walk a doggie. Both are pretty family-friendly though, I think.
