Dave1280 Posted October 27, 2021 #26 Posted October 27, 2021 Sooner or later everyone wins, maybe not overall profit.. But you'll hit a winning run, it's all about making the most of that run when it comes. Taking regular withdrawals, and locking them away into vaults with timelocks, etc. Too easy to lose your bankroll, and then depo everything again chasing the loss. Although, if only I'd taken my own advice. Ran up 80k in a couple of days, and lost it in one hour. That was back in April, but fuck.. Still plays on my mind.. Greed always gets the better of me..

Narcissae Posted October 30, 2021 #33 Posted October 30, 2021 It needs to happen at least once to have it as a lesson, learn from it and for the future you would think twice. But after a max gain, just withdraw and leave your initial amount for next session
dzmltzack Posted October 30, 2021 #34 Posted October 30, 2021 lol that how gambling work easy money easy losses

I like to think i played smart. Took out $200-500 profit out here and there and ofc had some big wins. The other day i lost it all in 1 hour. My question is what do you guys do or control yourselfs to stop playing after a certain amount. I always tell my self last deposit while im depositing but either i come out in profit or i have to lose it all. Suggestions would be great Im plat 3 btw if that matters so ive gambled a good amount. You know, it's always a matter of taking bits of benefits everytime you do a huge win. Before thinking what you could do with your wins on others game tables, just withdraw like 20% of your big wins everytime ! Also, you shouldn't increase your danger management at your stake if your planing to use your wins. I play to enjoy a casino game

chrisnguyenz Posted October 31, 2021 #37 Posted October 31, 2021 it's hard to forget that if i lose so much money like that
adwam1 Posted October 31, 2021 #38 Posted October 31, 2021 You need a friend to play together who will stop you when u are losing. and check https://www.begambleaware.org maybe this will help you man
Hanzzzi Posted November 21, 2021 #40 Posted November 21, 2021 Try to keep your initial betstake on the same lvl. Don't raise it since mostly it will be gone in an hour
Sinsemilla Posted November 21, 2021 #41 Posted November 21, 2021 "don't chase ur losses" everyone says it, nobody does it. Thats the hardest thing when it comes to gambling imo. You depo 100 to get ur $50 loss back, depo another 200 to get those 150 back -> lets do a final 500 -> "i can't lose $850 in 1 day, also the RTP has to pay me now, im gonna do another 1000" -> well fuck it, i need to get this money back, ... And all this for just $50.
Goal34ice Posted November 21, 2021 #43 Posted November 21, 2021 It’s called compulsive gambling, almost all of us gamblers suffer from it and we will always suffer from it! We’ll never know when to stop, no matter how much we are up or down. Only way to get past it is to just stop gambling.
hodler Posted November 21, 2021 #44 Posted November 21, 2021 i hit 2 jackpots in 1 week for a lot, it was gone in 4-5 days. Try spending 25-30K a roll on roulette and miss somehow

This way you can start "choosing" if you burn it in a minute or strech it over the day. This way it doesnt rly give you the "thrill" but that "thrill" can often be blinding you and you want more controll, right? And make sure you are fine with losing that 50ct/5$ a day, dont try to get it back with another 5$ -_ - This process is teaching you, not a winning-stratagie This is so true if we can learn self control.
BeardRBS Posted November 22, 2021 #46 Posted November 22, 2021 Prioritize. Easier said than done. At 18 I started losing my weekly checks at a landbased casino. Couldn't stop. I knew I had to do something so I went to work at the casino. A few years of watching people lose their checks, rent, bill money, child support, well that put it into perspective. I now realize (and this sounds very cheesy but true) that gambling is not a way to make money consistently. Only play with what you can afford to lose. It's fun, but the house always wins.
rich Posted November 24, 2021 #47 Posted November 24, 2021 Won £18000 in a week lost it all in an hour the following week. Hurt real bad...

Thepug Posted November 24, 2021 #50 Posted November 24, 2021 If you don't already own one, a hard wallet is a nice way to store funds for the long term. Let's say you win $10,000. You could store $5,000 on the hard wallet and keep the rest to play with. After winning big, the worst thing that you can do is lose all of it. It's so tempting to always want more, but that is human nature. Storing funds on a wallet where you can limit any gambling activity, such as a hard wallet, could be the best way for you to still have crypto without losing it all gambling.
