Hi there,

to make a long story short, I had a lot of fun and a great day at all. Well, and a chat with the support about a

problem. this thread is not about the 100 usd worth of coins I lost because i received a trx payment to my stake deposit addrress from a smart contract. .

(please no more standard phrases c&p, i read and understand your statement and point of view on this)

I would like to talk about the nice chat with the support team.

Of course right after i noticed the problem, i request help from support.

And of course, I wasnt happy about  the answer. whatever.

its getting interesting right after the  support team member is done with the copy and pasting standard phrases.

When add his personal touch ;) lets take a look at the chat log.

Here is the log

06:37 PM | notYou: Hi there. I have a problem with my latest trx deposit. a friend of mine ask for my trx address to pass me some coins. i gave him my stake deposit address. i didnt expect an incoming transaction via smart contract. sadly it is :v

06:38 PM | Filip from Stake support team: Hey there!

May I have your transaction hash, please?

06:38 PM | notYou: thats the transaction https://tronscan.org/#/transaction/3bca8089e46547a04c538de1bd8b01546c040d1a8a855bf1df328e4093e64e29
my stake deposit address is TDbMLufev3bFz8c62vTeFTzpjGBXaM5nBs

06:44 PM | Filip from Stake support team: Unfortunately, our site does not support TRX smart contracts. :/

Since our system is unable to process these Tokens, your funds are, unfortunately, lost.

We have pointed that out on our Deposit section but most likely that you have missed that part. :/

Please be more careful in future and avoid sending TRX Tokens to our platform.

06:47 PM | notYou: as i said i didnt expect it. however, those coins are actually not lost but you are not willing to take the effort to move them and make them 'system compatible'

06:48 PM | notYou: means trx worth about 100$ went to stake hell, yeah?

06:52 PM | Filip from Stake support team: That is just your opinion, mate. We have pointed that out on our platform. The mistake has been made by you and there's nothing that we could do to recover this transaction.

Also, the Tokens which you have sent here are worth far less than $100.

Please let me know if you need anything else. :)

06:54 PM | notYou: are you kidding me? 100$ are 999 trx by the price rate here at stake. so how can 1017 trx far less than 100$

06:56 PM | notYou: do you talk like this to all your customers? first of all you are wrong. and further, wtf?

06:56 PM | notYou: how about some respect? as like i come all day long to support chat and talk shit about god and the universe.

07:01 PM | Mara from Stake support team: Hey there.

Filip is not available anymore so I will take over from here.

Allow me a moment to check the previous conversation, please.

07:10 PM | Mara from Stake support team: Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do here, you can send only pure TRX coin to your TRX address.

Please be more careful in the future and always double check.

07:11 PM | notYou: and thats the answer im waiting for about 7 minutes? you just repeat the nonse of the previous dudd

07:12 PM | notYou: lets talk about

07:12 PM | Mara from Stake support team: I needed some time to check everything, my colleague gave you correct information.

07:12 PM | notYou: whats his name? fabian? whats wrong with him talking like that to a customer

07:14 PM | notYou: he actually told me im lying. or im too stupid to know the value of my transaction. fact is, he is the stupid one. in several ways

07:15 PM | notYou: im missing a piece of respect there. and for real, would to tell the same shit a roshstein or anyone of these golden eggs dropping stake chickens?

07:17 PM | notYou: i dont think so. of course, im just a usual customer, one of thousands of idiots, you dont have to care about my help request.

07:19 PM | notYou: but dont expect any more respect from side then. im the idiot who reported some api related bugs a few days ago. a friendly dude trying to make it a better place. i should waste my time on that

07:19 PM | notYou: well, i dont think youll answer anymore so

07:19 PM | notYou: take care

07:22 PM | Mara from Stake support team: Sorry if you felt that way, he was only trying to help.

Believe me, there's nothing we can do here, we do not accept tokens. :/

I wish I could have helped more.

Let us know if there is anything additional that we may assist with, we are available 24/7.

 Best of luck playing! 🍀

whats the point giving a customer this kind of answer?

I wonder, what is it he wants to tell me with his bullshit statement? and why he suddenly disappeared?

first of all, he is wrong.  even it is simple math, lets do the calculation for him.

the price per trx is 0.10$ at time of writing. Using the given ressources and infos, we extrac the amount of coins sent. thats 1017 for the given transaction.

1017*0.10 usd = 101.70 usd. a amount of coins sent

my conclusion, he is either saying i am lying about public accessable data and prices for any reasons (eh.. what?) or that i am too stupid to do some simple math or read some text on a website?! *jaja*

i dont care about what that dude thinks about me as a customer. im sure he also doesnt want to know what i think about him

Its a no go

enough about freddie and his missing respect and math skills.

I have to admit, you are right, definetly my fault.

On a lazy moment i forgot about all the bad on the world, all the possibilities and  reasons which could lead to loose my funds,

about  the never ending fight between ethablished , common used crypto currency concepts and Stakes legion of (glory?) devs

another nice must say  o.O

it means that there is, for any reason, no support on system side so you claim the  coins as lost, yeah?

but from technical side they are not lost. the coins are right there on the wallet, accessable for you as key holder.

so whats left? you are too lazy  or give just dont give a sh to waste any time for reccovering a users funds,  or even work on any system solution in all the years.

No monkey business? Its exactly what i expect from a  monkey business.

ok ok, lets stop hating.

now its time to get a pen and paper ladies and gentlemen.

some thoughts from me

how about that,

instead of telling loyal users who regulary gamble and lose money at your platform, your business, that their money is lost on such kind of mistake, you simply cut

the drops at saturdays stream (yes yes i know, a lot people crying now, nobody loves you, the world is not fair, bla bla) and save up some funds.

On case decision of course,  you could offer at least a little bit of 'lost' funds and give a warning to the user

just my opinion, but valuable customers > freebies catching, ever same shatupgivecode spamming weirdos

Maybe its time to rethink the priorities?

[reserved space for more stupid opinions]

well i have a lot more to say but its late at my place and im tired. dont worry, ill be back with more annoying stuff in a few

This keeps happening, and it will keep happening.  I'm going to be optimistic and hope that the higher ups just haven't been made aware of whats going on, and when they do they will fix it and tell support to stop giving such a pathetic response when it happens in the future.

well. in general most of the support answers i get are also either plain robotic or rude as well.

there are exceptions and sometimes i am really impressed of how well of a job some of the guys do.

but the bottom line is that i can agree with the fact that the support is not proactive enough or does not know what to do if the problem is just a fraction out of the 'usual' stuff which does not have a copy paste phrase. Chatbots would do the trick there as well. Its just a rarity that you get help and feel secure about the support you get because you always think "man this guy really has no clue what to do as well"

i hope it will get better in the future and the wheat will get seperated from the chaff.
