Jackblack212 Posted November 4, 2021 #1 Posted November 4, 2021 Just wondering if you have ever seen anything as bad a my Stats. Should I get a lossback bonus ?
Tarrterr Posted November 4, 2021 #3 Posted November 4, 2021 Seen worse, you lost about 1.5% of your total wagered amount (2% if you count bonus money losses as well), which isn't the worst. Also assuming you lost the bonuses as well, you got around 40% of money lost back in bonuses (90k - 26k = 64k total deposited losses, 26k = around 40% of 64k) which can't be said for a lot of people. Even assuming you didn't lose it and withdrew all bonuses, that's still around 28% of all your losses back in bonuses.
nagakhoa Posted November 4, 2021 #4 Posted November 4, 2021 Yes, you do deserve one for being down that bad. Expect your rakeback, reload, weekly, and monthly to be decent. Hopefully a pre or post monthly for the upcoming festive season as well
dupeddonk Posted November 4, 2021 #5 Posted November 4, 2021 If you're playing mostly third party slots than you're actually pretty lucky to have lost that amount. For example, gates of olympus has a 3.5% house edge, which is pretty standard, so with that much wagered on average you're going to lose $143k. If you're only playing 1% house edge games like most Stake Originals, you should be losing $40k on average. Losing $90k isn't that horrendous. If you mostly play live dealer card games then you're pretty much losing right what you should expect to lose, maybe a little less. Also, your reloads are your loss back.
adwam1 Posted November 4, 2021 #6 Posted November 4, 2021 F for you bro, you should creat some rules for yourself when gamble 😁 maybe it cant won but i will save your money
LucaToni Posted November 4, 2021 #7 Posted November 4, 2021 This is a casino not your family business that you want something back for your losses. stop crying! either take control of your losses understand that in gambling you will have bad years followed by great months or days ,some ppl recover more than they ever lost in those great days rest just keep chasing. So make a strategy and change the way you are playing if you want different outcomes 5/10$ rakebacks/bonuses won’t help you here, a good strategy will! good luck don’t mind harsh words.

Mine is significantly worse over the month. Admittedly I’m not betting/losing as much as you, but % wise I’m at a 7.75% loss compared to your 1.5%
iziphania Posted November 4, 2021 #10 Posted November 4, 2021 life is like a game, not always you win and happy sometimes you need to felt that losses to improve your weaknesses.

You just have no entitlement to it. Ignore any references to house edge (unless you made 10million bets), it has no relevance to the majority of players as they bet in small numbers and may never see their win rate approach the win chance value. It is the variance that crucifies the players Variance is a measurement of how far you are from the mean. The house edge is the mean. If the house edge is greater, you're more likely to lose more/win less.
dupeddonk Posted November 5, 2021 #15 Posted November 5, 2021 6 minutes ago, Ghostnipple said: yes if you have placed millions of bets but if you've placed 100 bets its irrelevant. Placing more bets reduces the variance, but not the house edge. The greater the house edge, the less likely you have at winning. Think of making a 2x bet on dice with a 1% house edge and then again with a 5% house edge. With 1% house edge means you need to roll over 50.5 or under 49.5 5% house edge means you need to roll over a 52.5 or under 47.5 36 minutes ago, Ghostnipple said: It is the variance that crucifies the players Variance is actually the players only hope at walking away ahead. Without variance, you'd simply be paying the house edge. If the house edge is 1%, you'd simply be winning 99% of your wager every single bet.
dupeddonk Posted November 5, 2021 #16 Posted November 5, 2021 17 minutes ago, Ghostnipple said: how is it determined what the median, variance and house edge are in a string of results? The median and the house edge are the same - to figure it out you only need to know the rules of the game you're playing. First take the probability of each possible outcome and multiply it by the payout of that event, then add them together and divide by your bet amount. So with 2x dice we know we have two possible outcomes Let's say we're betting $10 : 49.5% of the time we win $10, and 50.5% of the time we lose $10. (0.495 * 10) + (0.505 * -10) = - 0.1 0.1 / 10 = 0.01 So the house edge is 0.01 which is 1%.
skrubreker Posted November 5, 2021 #17 Posted November 5, 2021 i mean ur lossback bonus is rakeback, daily, weekly, monthly bonus soooo gl with that
dupeddonk Posted November 5, 2021 #18 Posted November 5, 2021 16 minutes ago, Ghostnipple said: The win chance/ house edge are irrelevant in the small numbers. No it's not. Let's go back to my 1% vs 5% house edge playing 2x dice: 1 hour ago, dupeddonk said: Think of making a 2x bet on dice with a 1% house edge and then again with a 5% house edge. With 1% house edge means you need to roll over 50.5 or under 49.5 5% house edge means you need to roll over a 52.5 or under 47.5 Assuming you're betting over, with the higher house edge game, any time you roll between 50.5 and 52.5 you will lose 1 bet instead of gaining one bet. You can go look back at your bet outcomes and see tangible evidence over the past hudred or so bets that if the house edge were higher, you would have less money. Now imagine the house edge was 10%, do you still think it would be irrelevant? What about 20%? Would you really not mind if all those winners that were a few numbers away from being losers actually lost? Anyway, I think we're derailing pretty hard here so I'll leave it at that. Apologies to OP.
seagreen Posted November 5, 2021 #20 Posted November 5, 2021 sorry for your losses but its always best to keep it low when betting, good luck at getting a lossback
