The reason I have left this casino

I just wanted to give everyone an update to why I have not played and why today I have asked for my account to be closed. I will skip everything up until about a month ago where I feel all my issues started. I had no problems with anyone here up until then. The only complaint I ever had was my RTP was simply much lower than I felt was right. So, about a month ago I had been on a four-month losing streak (around a million dollars in slots given back) and I had some questions for my host. My host was someone I didn’t expect a lot from when it came to answers as I got the “company” run around answers or “let me ask or look into it”. A lot of my important questions were unanswered. There was a day I was in Sports chat and Eddie’s name got brought up as I think he had just rained the room. During this someone had asked me if I had Eddie as a host and I said no. They said I should as he “takes care” of him. I asked a few questions about if getting a new host was simple and the norm and was told yes but half the room it seemed like. People went on to tell me they could send me his TG and contact information. In the meantime, I reached out to live customer support and asked them the process of switching to Eddie. They said they just talked to him, and he said to tell my host and she will switch me to him. I went back to sports chat and still had people asking if I wanted his contact. I told them what customer support had said and I was going to message my host but sure give it to me. I told them how to reach me. This got me a mute for about 10 minutes from chat. When I messaged my host, she said Eddie isn’t taking any new players. We went around and about for a day, and she finally gave me his email which I messaged. To say Eddie was helpful would be and exaggeration. Basically, all he cared about was wanting to know what my host did to me. After going in circles with Eddie and him eventually saying he would switch me, but it was a hassle I told him I will just stick with my host as I wasn’t playing for about a week waiting for this to all get fixed and I had taken all my money off the site. This was never meant to be this much drama. Everyone said it was common and easy. I messaged my host and told her lets try and move forward and forget the past, etc. I deposited some money back on to the site to play. A day later I get the message below from my host and this was confirmed as well when I couldn’t chat again and emailed customer support.

Did you receive any email message from us by any chance? 🤔

It seems your account is placed to withdraw only mode due to 2nd KYC level required. It's a very painless procedure, all you have to do is fill in data on this page:

https://stake.com/settings/verify

After verification is successfully confirmed, your account will be fully active again.

Let me know in case you need any further assistance with this, please.

At this point I could not chat, tip, transfer money, etc. The only thing I could do was withdraw money. I reached out to Eddie where just like the first time he was less then helpful. I came to the website and was told at the very beginning my privacy would always be respected. If I wanted a website to go through levels of verification I would have gone to other places. If this is what is expected, then I should have just been told that and I would have not signed up. I was specifically told my privacy would always be respected. I still have no clue what created these issues, but my thought is it all started when I asked for a new host. Is my host this insecure? Likely. Also, I didn’t mention but around the time of my asking for a new host I had also banned myself from slot play. Did this play a part? Likely as well. Either way I will not be back this website, and this will not be the last of my story.

There are many things I want to go into but won’t here on this website as this might not even be shown. I plan on providing much more things and information to everyplace I know because I would not want this to happen to them. Stake can reply however they want and make this situation look like something it isn’t, but I have never had more then one account, never signed anyone up as an affiliate, never signed up as an affiliate, and never broke any rules. If stake can do this to someone who did what I did for the community, then don’t think they can’t and won’t do it to you or others. More to come about many things but away from this website. I will find other platforms to have my full story out which includes over 50 documents. If Stake wants to reach out to me, you know how to find me. To everyone playing on this site I wish you the best of luck and be careful. Take care.

That's insane man. I'm having the same problem like you. I've been blocked from tipping / rain and also can't "withdraw" my funds until I verify Level 3 KYC (my bank statements showing my funds, bank account number, stamped & stamped by the bank as well as my pay slips.) It's absolutely ridiculous, there's no respect for our privacy here.

I have left with no choice now, it's either submit those or suspend my account forever in order to be able to withdraw my money.

- Anyways, I wish you best of luck in whatever you're up to! Take care buddy, will miss seeing you in sports chat. ❤️

Since I don’t gamble on only one site, for the past month I’ve been transferring funds around from site to site; mainly to avoid paying two transaction fees. Well, if I deposit to stake and withdraw without doing a single bet, every time the withdrawal gets refused and I’m asked to KYC or cancel the transaction.

The whole point of crypto is to be anonymous and open. If governments try to crack down and control crypto it ruins the entire meaning of having crypto.

Also, much of my crypto earnings are not from my personal bank account. They might be raffle winnings, lottery winnings, bonuses given out by stake,

Most sites ask for proof of bank statement on deposit which I can’t provide because this money isn’t always and usually isn’t directly from my bank. It’s crypto. Not fait.

So the main reason I play on Stake is because they don’t ask questions about my money. If it was over 10,000 dollars that’s one thing. But there should be clear guidelines about this.

I feel and see Stake is heading in the direction of requiring more information which ruins the privacy we expect when gambling and these roadblocks, no matter how small or meaningless support may make it seem like just makes me and others just not want to deposit again; for fear of whether I’ll be allowed to withdraw it later or not.

that’s why I stopped playing on the other sites. This will be the end of Stake unless it’s resolved.

With the growth of the number of employees of the company, it becomes more and more difficult for the manager to keep track of what is happening in the company. Familiality and lumpiness are leaving, only anger and envy of colleagues remain. This is called disruption of business communications.

Therefore, you should not blame Eddie for anything, because he relies on the opinion of trusted persons, alone it is no longer possible to figure everything out.

Sorry for making drama.... but no matter how much you wager, the RTP is still the same. There was a post on Stake's sub reddit about it. The fact that you make 1000 0.20 bets or 1000 10 bets they are the same chances to hit the jackpot or lose, in the first case you lose less.

And I don't understand about the privacy, Stake says clearly on their ToS that they may ask KYC at any moment, it's mandatory to "read" and sign it when we sign up.

Crypto currency is about privacy, but a casino and sports book is another thing which requires KYC in most countries. Even if a casino is crypto based, at some point the legislations will try to control the transactions not because they spy somehow on people for delusional reasons, but to avoid laundry and criminal funding. Stake is under Curaçao license, not the most severe out there, but it still has some rules to follow. A lot of other crypto casinos I tried asked me to KYC mandatory, even some under Curaçao license. Stake doesn't, but it still says that it's against money laundering and criminal acts. If you deposit funds and withdraw immediately or without wagering at least one penny, if you randomly and/or systematically start to tip high amounts to other users and any other sorts of suspicious transactions they may ask you to KYC, it literally says on their ToS.

I am really sorry for your loss, but I don't think that it's something to do with a specific platform, but casino itself... and more than this, 3rd party slots aren't under their control. Honestly, for me it just looks that you lost the money under addiction and not able to admit it yet.

"if you randomly and/or systematically start to tip high amounts to other users and any other sorts of suspicious transactions they may ask you to KYC" Have they asked you for KYC yet after you constantly spammed tips on Eddie's stream? Lol

As a noob you may not be aware that players at stake were promised over and over that there would never be KYC at stake.com

The fact that the current ceo refuses to honour any promises made to players in the past will tell you something about the nature of how stake operates now.

When someone is in the habit of breaking promises made in the past. What faith can you hold in any promises they make today or tomorrow.

When the directors of stake go to great lengths to hide their identity, pushing Eddie out in front to pretend he is in control, why would you ever give people like that your most personal details.

Well, yeah. I may be a noob, I started Stake in February and those were the ToS. I just don't feel the need to get paranoid about KYC and for me it was already huge the fact that it wasn't mandatory from the beginning and never asked me, just did it by myself. I guess you guys are paranoid about showing your infos anywhere. You, they are other Casino's that don't ask it, yet they have a big scam reputation.

They did  it to me a few days ago bro.  They don't give 2 shits about customers anymore. ..they have gotten too big.  They advertise something they cannot uphold...privacy.

Why the hell should people feel obligated to provide personal information when the promise was you didnt have to...hence a crypto fking casino...

Do you really think the house has won in this scenario. 860 people have read this thread. Stake have lost at least one player over this issue probably more. What is the official response to this issue? no response = they don't care, that is the official response. How many people have read this thread and thought fuck this I'm not placing bets here. If you think the house has won here you are mistaken.

I wouldn't put serious money in stake because i knew one day shady shit would happen...just like any casino that blows up...they stop giving a shit about customers. The world is round baby...EVEN THE MIGHTIEST fall.
