Guest RagingTreetrunk Posted November 18, 2021 #1 Posted November 18, 2021 Let me just say that I'm not really experienced with crypto. All I did was buy some BTC on Binance, send it to Bitso, and then send it directly to my stake account. Thing is, I noticed that I won't be able to withdraw any crypto without my 2FA (I made my stake account a while ago and no longer own the 2fa device) I've already contacted stake support and was able to verify all ten security steps but one; "Please send us a few screenshots of the deposits you sent to Stake from your wallet's history (the platform you have used to send the funds), not from public explorers." In my head, I thought this meant just sending a screenshot of the transaction from Bitso where you can see both my Bitso and Stake BTC address. But stake support replied with this: "We need a screenshot of the deposit from your external wallet, not from the public explorer." I'm pretty confused at this point, as I'm not really experienced with a lot of these terms. Could anyone help me on how I can get the information I require to verify my transaction? Thanks.
Forum Admin Tristan Posted November 21, 2021 Forum Admin #2 Posted November 21, 2021 Hey RagingTreetrunk, What they mean is, lets say you deposit directly from Binance to Stake and dont use a private wallet in between. All that they require is a screenshot of your withdrawals from Binance to Stake in order to verify this. Or, if you are using a wallet in between, then all that require is a screenshot of that wallets withdrawals to Stake.
