Guest DownTremendous Posted December 3, 2021 #1 Posted December 3, 2021 Had 5k in binance usdt. Was trying to put some money in stake so converted 1000 to usdt. Accidentally sends the usdt instead of the trx to the trx wallet because I double checked the address and the exchange thing saying its trx but never realized I maxed out the usdt instead of the trx. Boom 30 mins later I realize I sent 90% if my binance wallet in usdt to the stake trx wallet for deposits and lost it all. Seen others lose more on the forums and I realize probably a 95% chance im not seeing the money back gg.

XeroF Posted December 3, 2021 #6 Posted December 3, 2021 Its a costly mistake, ive done the same ltc to bitcoin or if it was other way around. It was lost they said so, should had taken that as a bad omen as I have an rtp of like 5% here playing 0.2-$1 bets. In 3 month hit 3360x 2100x 1750x still down like $10000 insane!

But stake was able to recover the money thankfully!!! Super grateful and learned my lesson. Always talk to stake support even if someone tells you it’s unrecoverable. 😃

Youngnrich Posted December 16, 2021 #12 Posted December 16, 2021 @retrokcyeah I withdrawed I never intended on gambling that money only 1k. All my binance money was in usdt and I transferred 1k to trx. But I ended up sending the usdt money thinking it was the 1k trx that I converted

davidf Posted December 25, 2021 #15 Posted December 25, 2021 Hi there same happend to me and people was so sure that this really was a expensive mistake and stake didnt want to help me.. i kept sending the same issue to stake week after week and 3 months later they finally had a procedure of fixing these problems. I love how many crypto experts told me i was wrong and that the funds were gone forever because they thought it was sent to a different network.. but TRX usdt is the same network and thats why it was recoverable. Its sad my topic was locked back then.. would love to tell people there i finally got my money back
