How do you become a Stake Host?

I wanted to check on this as my current host has been on gone for almost a month now and if that is how much vacation time you get working for Stake, then I am in the wrong profession.  I do not want to mention their name here in hopes Stake can provide helpful information and I have no qualms with the host when they are in town/always pleasant to work with.  It is just a bit frustrating during one of the most rewarding months for regular players, let alone one who wagers a decent amount to feel as though you may be missing out on some of the perks.  When the host left in mid-Nov, we were told it was a short break and only given a link to a general backup host on TG that only takes care of daily reloads when needed.  I was told by the backup host channel that the top monthly VIP wager bonuses normally issued on the 1st can only be reviewed or sent when my host returns which I am not sure is happening ever at this point.  It would be nice to get some sort of update on this and anything else that VIPs in the same situation may be missing as a result of the host being gone.

I believe players with a host on leave that qualified for top monthly have received the link already.

I also wouldn't assume that if a host is unable to work for several weeks that they're "on vacation".

I don't know how things work overseas, but at least in my country 1 month holiday yearly seems pretty normal then few shorter in addition to that.



I would assume though if your host is away for like month they would find someone to do his/her job for vacation time 😮

If i had LESS than a moth vacation i would for sure find myself a new job asap. 😅

Here I was having FOMO on some Christmas bonuses and now I am reevaluating my career and life decisions lol! Owning part of a small business has its perks but vacation is not one of them.  Usually I associate "vacation" with the Canadian term and it being a shorter bit of time off and "holiday" with a longer, much more beneficial break you see more in Europe.  A month though makes me think I am not only in the wrong profession but need to move back to Europe hah!  That is actually good to hear that some areas actually promote the well being of people and allowing adequate time off.  So in the spirit of that, I hope the host takes all the time in the world.  As mentioned, I was simply wanting to ensure I did not miss anything during this time as a loyal customer of Stake.  The monthly top VIP bonus isn't emailed and is sent through TG directly (not the monthly bonus but for players wagering over a certain threshold) so I will just wait until they return.  Glad the time off is not our of the ordinary and cheers to the holiday spirit.
