OkeyGaming Posted December 15, 2021 #1 Posted December 15, 2021 How do you guys feel about Stake.com having a license issued out of Curacao,,,.... One of the places with less strict laws and have governments known to turn their nose to scams for tax dollars. I don't feel to comfortable depositing here anymore, more and more especially after losing 50k cad in a year with no wins. Hmmmmm Only could imagine why they would go the Curacao route, thoughts?
CHIPPER Posted December 15, 2021 #2 Posted December 15, 2021 Short answers is: This is partnership license and have no benefits for clients. Its just for jurisdiction of using third-part slots and etc, and also for adverts on google, fb, twitch and etc... no one will work with non-licensed company. But for clients this licence plays no role.
iamback1992 Posted December 15, 2021 #3 Posted December 15, 2021 Well all I know is Curacao is the place if you wanna launder your money if you know what I mean. With this much crypto in hands it's doubtful of all of Stakes players are making a "honest living through hard work " Stake is pretty trustworthy but if you look online pretty much all the shady casinos are registered in Curacao.
J-Dawg Posted December 15, 2021 #4 Posted December 15, 2021 One of the the biggest problem we have is that there is no 3rd party official licensed bodies that are holding the Stake Originals games and the Pseudo-RNGs that are being deployed across their platform to accountability. An officially licensed EU casino is held accountable and their games and randomness are tested often and randomly to make sure there is no funny business going on. Provably Fair isn't good enough and would not cut it in a casino with a real world license. What is important there is that they have all the certificates that are constantly renewed and updated, that say in effect "This casino has been independently audited for fairness and randomness by a 3rd party licensed company that in turn is regulated by the USA/DE/UK/AU (etc) government." And if these more traditional casinos are found to be falling short in an area, they are fined, sometimes very heavily, and it happens more often than you would expect. What stops a casino with a Curacao License operating the way the CS:GO sites were operating? They were proved and insiders leaked data and proof of how the CS:GO sites were taking all value away from the players. And the funny thing is.......Many of the people behind those CS:Go websites are also behind these crypto Curacao sub-licensed casinos..... Coffezilla and Someordinarygamers did a very interesting 6 part expose on exactly this. Interesting watch for sure, anyone curious about these websites and licenses should have a watch.
skleven Posted December 15, 2021 #5 Posted December 15, 2021 Stake is per definition a non-licenced casino. A Curacao license is only worth the sticker at te bottom of the website.

These are the required documents to applying for a gaming license in Curacao. Pretty much what you would need to apply for a visa to another country
