Kargai Posted January 18, 2018 #1 Posted January 18, 2018 Just found this image on Reddit and it's interesting to see how many developpers have participate to the Bitcoin project over the years. Almost 80 devs are currently working on the project, It had 158 contributors to it in the last 12 months. That might not sound a lot, but it puts it in the top 2% of all open source projects in the world in terms of the size of the active development team. Some other infos I found on Twitter Bitcoin Core Git Stats 2017 : https://twitter.com/_jonasschnelli_/status/951193828446191616 - Total pull requests created: 1'843 (~5 per day) - Merged pull requests: 1'195 (~3.27 per day) - GitHub comments/reviews: 21'153 (~57.95 per day) - Commits: 3'277 (~8.98 per day) - Git contributors (merged code): 161 - GitHub contributors: 713
