Stake stole $16,000 USD from me... so basically I created multiple accounts to bypass the max bet on my account as I was always betting high amounts and their support wouldnt increase my limits, and since I was winning too much, they decided to KYC my account that I already had $6000 in. So I had another account, that was fully KYC'd level 1 through level 4 and I thought I would be good depositing $10,000 USD into it for my cousin who wanted me to bet on something for him. Turned out I was not, I tried to bet and I got max bet and after that I attempted to withdraw and it did not let me. It said "Error. You are not allowed to do this".

After this, I contacted live chat and they told me that I had to contact [email protected]. They took around 2 days to reply, and the reply I received was something along the lines of "You have been banned for using multiple accounts" and I thought after this I would be allowed to withdraw but no. I can still not withdraw, which is really annoying. i contacted the live support again and they just told me to contact the same email, I've sent them multiple emails now and they are just not replying.

I'm not sure what to do in this situation, since in their TOS it says that they will just freeze your funds, not steal them forever. And others who have been suspended/banned on stake have been able to get their funds back.

It's indeed frozen rather than stolen because they ain't gonna spend it in anyway.

So were you told explicitly that the fund cannot be withdrawn?

They  never said that, but it's not like theyre letting me withdraw lol. I've been talking with their live chat and emailing them everyday. One of the stake support team members emailed me back and said "

Please read our Terms of Service in their entirety:

"Without prejudice to any other rights, if a User breaches in whole or in part any provision contained herein, Stake reserves the right to take such action as it sees fit, including terminating this Agreement or any other agreement in place with the User and/or taking legal action against such User.

You agree to fully indemnify, defend and hold harmless Stake and its shareholders, directors, agents and employees from and against all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including legal fees and any other charges whatsoever, howsoever caused, that may arise as a result of: (i) your breach of this Agreement, in whole or in part; (ii) violation by you of any law or any third party rights; and (iii) use by you of the Service."

They have a max bet to protect themselves. And when you made multiple accounts to get around this limit, i guess the red flag popped up.

true, but they banned some of my friends too, and they didnt even use multiple accounts lol

Clearly broke stake rules so a ban is right.

They have no right to confiscate your funds though. Should return them immediately, minus any gains you got from breaking the rule.

they actually caught me using multiple accounts before, and they just put the account into withdraw-only mode. idk why theyre not doing that now

It feels like there's a little "racket" going on inside the organisation. The people at the top of Stake have put the Accounts Department in charge of handling these things, and they just assume they are being fair and putting accounts caught breaching into withdrawal mode only. However......

A couple of bright sparks inside that department have realized by seeing it differently they can get themselves some sweet off the books under the table loot.

Corruption is a very typical situation in all parts of world, but by choosing to gamble on sites with questionable licenses and regulations, you are taking the onus of the extra risk on.

That's one very likely and probably scenario....

Sorry to hear that. These greedy scumbags only like dumb cash cows, that's how it is.
