Bad experience in Sport betting

On 20-01-2022 i make this bet:

 

 

According to stake scores they were 0-0 and 2-1, but in other betting sites seconds later they were 2-2 and 0-30; S Right after that the market was cancelled, and it was not available again for the entire match.

In other betting websites they also suspended markets, but in the 2nd set they were available.

 

Something happened in the 14th minute of the match because the referee calls time?

 

No point by point since the 3º game baceuse of this error 😮

 

 

 

I contacted support and after a conversation they told me the following:

 

 

I am sure the bookmarks were late, the provider acknowledges that there was an error in the bookmarks but there is nothing else I can do.

Anyone who bets on sports knows that a bet never takes 2 days to settle

 

 

 

I saw it as normal since most of the rules (from the stake rules section) have 48-hour deadlines, but after 48 hours the bet was not cancelled. After these 48 hours, I contacted support, they contacted the betting provider and gave me up for lost

 

To be fair I have to say that this is not usual, in thousands of sports bets that I have made it is the first time

 

It has made me feel quite bad, not only because of the money ($300), but because I understand that if they tell me that in writing they must keep their word.

 

 

 

 

Yes I know I'm not aabb123123 but I have wagered 1,341,600$ and lost 30.000-50.000$ as a plat 3 client in 11 months.

I expected another response as a regular customer of this company ;S

 

 

Summary: I place a bet on a game that has already ended. Markers are running late. Stake cancels all match markets for this reason. There are irregularities in this game both in the bookmakers and on the ATP website. They tell me to wait 48 hours and the bet will be void. I wait 48 hours and they settled as lost.

More problems with this match: In the chat they refer me to "flashscore" to see that the game was 0-40:

 

 

But officially (on the ATP website) they have no information on this game (the only game without this data in this match with 19 games 😞

For example, according to betsapi, they were 15-40:

 

 

Either way, the main problem is that the markers were late and that's why they suspended the odds for the rest of the game

I'm writing just to make this clear. There are various factors affecting bet settlements or bet voiding. 

There was correction for the 1st point of 4th Game in 1st Set. Officials switched from 0:15 to 15:0.

Exact Game has been finished 15:40 for Francisco Cerundolo  and he took serve from another player Matías Franco Descotte and his bet was settled accordingly. 

From what I see here, your bet has been settled according to the officials result. If it has been placed before the connection issue and the odds were correct at the moment of placing, your bet must be settled according to the official result.  

This must be sorted in live support ticket where we can require all the information to check the result and how the connection issue affecter (or never affected) your bet. 

Our system has registering everything regarding bets and you haven't provided bet ID, time of placement, etc. 

Kindly, contact us on live support, ask for sportsbook managers and I am sure my colleagues and I would be glad to check this out and sort the issue by the rules and the stats from the match. 

Forum post can't help you much, but you can contact our sports team whenever in live support and I am sure each member will give his best to check all the information.

I contacted support the same day I placed the bet, and also 2 days later (still not settled in 48 hours)

But after contacting, it is seen that they manually settled the bet

As I said, the stake market at that time did not really reflect the match score.

What happened here javier? I didn't see the match but Stake's sport provider is usually very glitchy and full of mistakes, hope they fix this issue soon.

I also have issue 2 years ago about secret vs alliance match all the other sports betting have the same odds but in the stake they said wrong provide of odds after finishing game 1 and 2 after winning the game 3 the game is voided but game 1 and game 2 are finish all ready and after winning the game 3 they said wrong provide of odds

Basically the odds provider says everything is OK

 

Obviously we all know this is a lie. Any of you if you bet on sports know that under almost no circumstances does a bet take 2 days to settle... (unless there is an incident like in this case)

 

 

They simply made me wait 2 days and instead of canceling it (as indicated by chat) they gave it as a loser after contacting again 😞

Yes, when they told me that after 48 hours it would be canceled I was waiting like an idiot 🦧

 

 

 

 

There is nothing to do, despite the obvious error, once support closes the case it does not seem that it will be solved.

 

 

It only occurs to me to complain to the Spanish Ministry of Consumer Affairs but I don't think stake.com is regulated by them

It is pointless to complain javier... they have their hands tied up when it comes to the odds provider... They always have the last word. But hope they give you something as compensation since this is definetly Stake problem, shouldn't be yours since the market was open when you made the bet. It's almost like they baited you to bet on a losing bet.

Unfortunately finally lost the money.

After the last chat conversation they haven't said anything to me again.

Writing this post in the forum in the end did not help me at all.

Being a platinum 3 customer hasn't helped me at all either.

It is an obvious error of the odds provider but in this case there is no possibility of recovering the bet despite the evidence.

 

I am considering claiming from the DGOJ (Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego) but I don't think I have anything to do since stake doesn't have a license in Spain

 

 

 

 Maybe the boss  @Edward  could help me with this issue? 🚩
