Macdos Posted January 20, 2018 #1 Posted January 20, 2018 when i was a child i theres no computer yet...nintendo gameboy is one of my gadget..but before those electronix gadget.i used to play this cool chilhood games 1.marble.- mechanics is to draw a line.play with all of ur friend who have their own marbles, everyone will be throwing their 1 marble near the line, but need not to go over the line..the nearest u are the better.. coz if u are near the line..u have the chance to targer the marble next to u . if u hit it the person who own the marble need to pay u marbles too..depending on how much the you agreed to bet. if you hit the marble you cantarget the next one again..if you dont hit it..the target become the next to try to hit other marble..the marble that is farthest to the line will have no chance to target..if you go over the line..ul be the last target leaving you no chance to hit 2.toy top Pictured here is a a spinning top. If you throw the top out and simultaneously pull on the string, the top spins. And you get to see this top spend a lot of time balancing on the sharp tip. (I have taken the liberty of choosing a traditional spinning top from my region of the world, instead of the ones you find elsewhere.) When I was young, we would play with these tops. They were heavy, but the heavier ones where more fun. No, I am not an old fogey; computers and the Internet simply came to us a bit later, and the computers were so slow back then that we would play with real stuff 3 teks "TEKS" cards were printed for a short period and were based on the popular movie or TV series at the time it was printed. They were sold in "sari-sari" stores or by ambulant vendors near schools because kids could not resist playing with them. These cards were crudely made and printed on cardboard. Like comics on cards, each card is meticulously drawn by a Filipino illustrator and were numbered from 1-60 or more to complete a storyline. These could be traded, or played in a toss-up like manner by kids. The game relies heavily on betting which side will come up, and is decided by flicking the teks in the air. Players usually favor a specific card to use as the cards they'll flip while all the other cards are basically act as betting currency. These cards were made in the 1970s up to the early 1980s, it measure approximately 35 mm x 46 mm. The 1960s card are a bit bigger and measure 50 mm x 68 mm. Teks are well loved by the children and very seldom would survive. I was lucky that I was able to save some of them from my childhood days. If you have other teks cards that you want to share email me at [email protected] and I will post it here. Source: WikiPilipinas i just put 3 of mu childhood toy so you have a chance to post yours
Priems Posted October 26, 2018 #3 Posted October 26, 2018 The task of finding something like I had in my childhood is almost impossible. The only shop with toys I enjoy is this one in UAE https://www.minimaslim.com/product-category/all-products/mama/ .
