Juliefarkhan97 Posted January 30, 2022 #1 Posted January 30, 2022 I can't speak in India chat even though I m an Indian. Because I don't speak Hindi. THIS MAKE ME FEEL LIKE NOT INDIAN. .. this brings forcing Hindi politics of India to stake also. India have many languages. Hindi Is not s national language. It's a official language and English also. I speak English (spoken by 20 percent of Indian fluently) Telugu (7 percent nd more) Tamil (5 percent and more) Malayalam (3 percent) I speak this many languages of India and verified my document and address as Indian but I m not Indian for stake and not allowed to chat in India. Does it anywhere make sense. Change India chat to Hindi chat @Bojana @Eddie
sha4ravi Posted January 30, 2022 #2 Posted January 30, 2022 I completed agree with ur thread...India has 22 langugaes ... Iam Indian By birth ..Hindi too not my language. ..iam a telugu guy and my official langauge is telugu ...I dnt know how to write or read hindi...So if i dnt speak hindi ...Am i not allowed to chat in indian Room? Is rules changed like..Only hindi chatters allowed to chat in indian chat ? Past i was in indian chat...I chat english there wid ppl and i dnt have issue but from some months im in sports chat ...so whats going on indian chat this days i dnt know..
Moderator ThugStream Posted January 30, 2022 Moderator #3 Posted January 30, 2022 Hey You do have a one valid point about changing name India chat to Hindi besides that, there is no politics. You do speak English, English is part of Indian languages you can feel yourself as Indian in English or sports chat. There are over 22 languages in India, and i do not believe stake plans to add 22 different chat rooms along with 22 moderators, one moderator for each language staying up for one user,or there is a second option which according to you is wise i believe? to allow all the 22 languages in one chat just because its named India chat, Imagine 20 users (average strength of India chat) each writing in their native language, might sound like a very constructive chat to you but i just cant say the same. As of my knowledge Hindi is majority spoken language and the same has been applied in India chat. Its already mentioned in Stake rules. However ive already forwarded your suggestion of name change, Good day
Moderator RMK1 Posted January 30, 2022 Moderator #4 Posted January 30, 2022 Agree with @ThugStreamopinion, simple solution is to change name of the room to Hindi Chat...
play4win Posted January 30, 2022 #5 Posted January 30, 2022 My vote for @ThugStream . And i support Room name change From India to Hindi .

SatryBaal Posted January 30, 2022 #7 Posted January 30, 2022 Well, you cant interact with yourself, you interact with someone right ? Now the scenario is, chat is going on in hindi, suddenly imagine for a instance you wish to speak in telugu and write something, half of the chat is clueless, not a majority of them understand it. The flow of the chat breaks at that instance. You might have said something good, something bad or cussed, whats the point when people cant understand it. The basic idea is to keep a language that is understandable by the majority. 7 minutes ago, sha4ravi said: You should correct your statement here bhai..English is part of indian language you said ..Why not allowed in indian chat is that guy question and Ur saying u can feel indian in eng and sports chat ....why not in indian chat?

Right, I might be wrong, if we don't allow every English speakers from English chat or other 12 chat rooms, in India chat just because English is part of Indian chat, Then we should be correcting title of this topic, "Change India chat to Global chat"

You should keep the chat called india and let people talk there in Hindi or English. As someone who was to India multiple times I can assure you there is no indian online who doesn't know one of these 2. So don't get biased by the opinions of some from parts of India

My chat not mean to create 22 chat room and 22 Mods I was considering every English speaker in stake, in my last post not just some Indian people, If you mean to say allow only Indian English speakers to write, English in India chat, that is going to be unfair. 54 minutes ago, iulianbutanu said: English is not an indian language and by the constitution of India, English and Hindi are the national languages. So don't get biased by the opinions of some from parts of India I quite disagree with you here and I would say you are being biased of some parts of India by keeping it India chat, and only allowing English and Hindi, if its India chat id like to feel Indian in stake just like op wants, by speaking "Gujarati" which is my native language, Regardless at the end there will always be the same argument and confusion in chat, or later similar forum topic will be created. Not sure, but there are no national but official languages in constitution of India there are over 22 (not accurate number), if unofficial languages are counted i believe the number goes to hundreds :D , It's true majority of Indians do speak either Hindi or English. Single English message in India chat can influence mostly everyone in writing English, but there is always a small portion of people who cant understand English. For the same reason its not wise to allow English in India chat or to call it English 2.0 or Global chat. sounds good tho. Thanks
Moderator chandrarv Posted January 30, 2022 Moderator #12 Posted January 30, 2022 I feel like some English also should be allowed here or room name should be changed to Hindi. There is no point in continuing it as an Indian room if only Hindi is allowed. Recently One user muted because he is using excessive English words. the user is here for three years and doing the same thing, Moderator clearly knows he is an Indian and still muted him.
Juliefarkhan97 Posted January 30, 2022 Author #13 Posted January 30, 2022 Again I say. I m Indian not allowed to speak there. Because I don't speak. So it's not India chat . Change to Hindi Chat..... I am an Indian I wish to speak with Indians but I can't able to speak India chat. In India we don't have nationsl language because of w reason. Even when come to official languages. It's English and Hindi. Majority speak Hindi. I accept even most of them their mother tongue is not Hindi. You can ask in chat how many people's know English all the people there say yes. you can ask how many people's mother tongue Hindi half people won't be there to say yes . https://www.thehindu.com/data/just-26-percent-of-indians-speak-hindi-as-mother-tongue/article29439701.ece (I don't know I can post link here. Trying to show the reality) How many percent speak Hindi is 43 percent. It's not above 50 to decide they are over than other. As I said I speak 3 Indian local languages and English it's makes me the bigger part of other 57 percent. I don't feel Indian in India chat. Change to Hindi Chat instead of India that solves everything. I mean it u want me to speak only Hindi there it's political as per India. You can search on google. Government tried many times to force Hindi to all but never they can successfully do it. And it makes a very big question in politics. Change India chat to Hindi Chat Or allow every Indian to chat there. (It has be mentioned as only official languages) I accept with that. If India chat means I m Indian I go and speak there. If Hindi chat I don't know I won't go.

So don't get biased by the opinions of some from parts of India Thank you for your opinion but I want to correct you a bit, according to the constitution of India there is no national language. So Hindi is not a national language. there are 22 scheduled languages for official communication and Hindi is one of them and English too. I agree with your second point. Yeah some English should be allowed here or Room name should be changed to Hindi.
Juliefarkhan97 Posted January 30, 2022 Author #15 Posted January 30, 2022 Everyone except the moderator all other welcomed me when I was there in chat room. Even they appreciated when I get angry with the moderator. Because I have a love as an Indian there. But I pushed out because of language in a chat saying India. Just like to add three pictures..... Of the same mod speaking full text of his chat in English but not getting banned. I was speaking in broken Hindi not English. thou. I didn't break rules now. I don't know who broke it.

Wont be discussing mutes here. 2 hours ago, Juliefarkhan97 said: Everyone except the moderator all other welcomed me when I was there in chat room. I do allow broken Hindi in chat (if understandable and not translated), Like you can mix few English words in Hindi message for few msgs to interact its fine not strictly enforcing it. In the screenshot you posted Juliefarkhan97: "Mae abhi Hindi baat karta hum. Mera Hindi mae poora mistake milega, or 50 percent English milega." *From now I will talk in hindi will be full of mistakes and rest 50 % would be in english. Did you expect me to write "You do make sense" with such message? I wasn't sure if to respond you in English or Hind because you were all about mocking , besides that I have already explained the chat rule and my point towards not allowing English or other Indian languages but Hindi in chat. I wont be entertaining this argument here or in chat with you anymore, and again your suggestion to change name has been forwarded. Good day
denildan Posted January 31, 2022 #17 Posted January 31, 2022 English should be allowed in the INDIA chatroom. Most of the coastal states prefer local languages to Hindi. and the majority of nonhindi speakers will know English.
