Lordxx Posted February 2, 2022 #1 Posted February 2, 2022 I assumed that using provably fair tool in stake must proof that each spin is fair. I used the tool for some high bets I made and lost after copying the client seed and the server seed(hashed) and Nonce number but the results was absolutely different than what I've got in the game.. Any explanation?
xanela Posted February 2, 2022 #2 Posted February 2, 2022 You should release your seed for checking the provably fair. Otherwise you could know what is coming with hashed seed lol.
dupeddonk Posted February 2, 2022 #3 Posted February 2, 2022 You need to use the unhashed server seed to verify. They show you the hash when you set the client seed so that you know they didn't change it after they found out what you chose - but the actual client seed is a secret, otherwise you'd know the result ahead of time. To reveal the unhashed server seed you need to set a new client seed, then go back and look at the bet and you'll see the client seed has been revealed. If you hash that, it should match what they showed you in the beginning.
