Sakma Posted February 17, 2022 #1 Posted February 17, 2022 My referral has set up a couple of challenges and one of them is to get 250x win with 20c usd minimum bet. I though I would try it out so I opened the slot and started spinning on 20c bets (on usd I didnt change currency) and I somehow got lucky and got a 500x win but I noticed that I didnt receive the prize for the challenge. I waited a bit and went to open a ticket on live chat. First the lady I was speaking with insisted that someone else manage to hit it while I was doing the challenge (my referral is not popular and the challenges have been there for days if not weeks) and we ended up agreeing that if the challenge doesnt move to "all claimed" after a day has passed that I should contact them again so I did. (challenge is still active after 5 days now) I tell them about it and they say they will look into it. After 1-2 days I had to open a ticket even though they said they would contact me they told me that: We did finally receive an update regarding this. The thing is that the bet amount wasn't correct as providers use a different exchange rate. At the time of this bet, exchange rate on Stake was $0.19 so sadly it was slightly shy of winning. My question is how is that my problem? How can I know the exchange rates of the provider? I was just spinning at 20c bets... I dont see how stake and providers having different exchange rates is my problem. Also after I finished the winning bonus I went to bets on stake and it said it was 20c bet not 19c directly after I got the win... "Well, the bet wasn't in the amount it should've been, There's nothing that can be done regarding that.Sadly there's nothing that can be done.Bet was smaller in the amount at the time it was placed. We cannot pay out the prize for which you weren't eligible for. Exchange rate is not something that we can affect.Your bet was below 0.20c and therefore we are unable to pay out the prize for that challenge. Had it been in the right betting amount it would've automatically be credited to your balance." I really want your guys opinions on this subject and I really want to see if it was really my fault... UPDATE: I got in contact with someone from the technical support that commented on this thread and he told me that he will pay out the challenge (it was 40-41$ cause of crypto flactuation and add a little more and make it 50$ so it came to an end finally!) Thank you guys for taking the time to answer to this thread and I hope this incident doesnt happen again to anyone!
Luba74 Posted February 17, 2022 #2 Posted February 17, 2022 this is very unfair and it is 100% the fault of the casino. I think they should compensate you for this. and it is very bad that there is such confusion with the exchange rate. How can you know that you are playing by fulfilling the conditions if it is not transparent?

I was so frustrated when I was talking to live chat the they kept saying the same thing over and over again... Ty for taking the time to post your thoughts on this. I hope people in charge see it and tell their opinions as well @Nenad @Edward

dupeddonk Posted February 17, 2022 #6 Posted February 17, 2022 Were you playing in USD currency? Or using another currency that was showing up in bet history as 20 cents. If you were using USD as currency they should pay you. If you were using another currency, that's a different story since it's just an estimate.
pascalwl3 Posted February 17, 2022 #7 Posted February 17, 2022 @SakmaThat is definetely Stake's fault and they owe you that money. @Eddie @Nenad @Faris @Edward Pay him out! And give him an additional bonus to apologize for your mistake!

For example, if the min bet in USD is .50 but in BRL it's 1, and 1 BRL is worth a little less than .20 USD, (sometimes displays as 0.19, sometimes 0.2), then the bet probably shouldn't be eligible for the challenge.

Ty for your answer though!

Luba74 Posted February 17, 2022 #12 Posted February 17, 2022 @SakmaI wonder why they haven't paid yet. For a casino, it's a penny. Why see the negativity on the forum - besides, it's clear to any fool that the casino is to blame. I'm going to trust them with my money less after that. I think they will pay you eventually. But the fact that they are dragging their feet and apparently the support is working very poorly tells me a lot.
opscan Posted February 17, 2022 #13 Posted February 17, 2022 Unless Eddy or Steve see it, you will not be payed. Casino's supports never are in favor of players and will use every small arguments they have waiting for you to give up. You should try to reach Eddy on his stream. It should be possible @Sakma
Forum Admin Tristan Posted February 18, 2022 Forum Admin #14 Posted February 18, 2022 Hey mate, You should get in contact with me! Contact our support, send them the link to this thread and explain that you'd like to talk to "Tristan from Technical Support". Ill get this sorted for you. This seems like a little bit of an oversight due to exchange rates. We'll look into rectifying it for the future.

The support was very clear that they ended that subject. The oh way to do something now is to bring awareness to this post so someone in charge can see it 8 hours ago, opscan said: Unless Eddy or Steve see it, you will not be payed. Like seriously! I got in contact with Tristan that commented on this post and he explained to me that the bet was actually $0.1996 but he told me that since this is actually not fair for me to not be able to claim the challenge for 0.0004$ he will pay out the challenge and add a little extra to the prize so finally it came to a good ending!
Luba74 Posted February 18, 2022 #19 Posted February 18, 2022 @Sakma it is very good. which proves once again that it is necessary to attract attention if you are being treated unfairly. because most of the support staff don't care about your problems, they respond with the standard "copy-paste" method
opscan Posted February 19, 2022 #20 Posted February 19, 2022 @Luba74 its not about being treated unfairly. Its about respecting their engagment. And casino's have a lot to do, really
