If you can afford to double down after every loss you can win much more consistently. But you need fairly deep pockets because you can still easily go on a 10 game losing streak. Overall, people gambling on high odds for the "big win" are always gonna lose. People playing against lesser odds and making lots of small wins over time have a chance of success. But the best advice is don't gamble.
