Have you ever seen Faris act in a way he shouldn't as an employee?

Hey guys! Just wanted to make a thread about the mod @Faris in the stake chat. I'm hoping this thread can be used for everyone to share their experience with the mod, bad or good. Let me start 🙂

 

Firstly, I personally feel like Faris is the most unprofessional mod on the site and makes the site look bad as a whole. 

 

My experiences with Faris have been short lived as most of the time a mute gets threatened immediately. Weather you are making a joke or calling him a cock (a male bird) he will be sure to take offence to it and let you know that bad language is only okay if not used towards him. Pretty immature way to handle things.

 

The mod also seems to always be caught up passive begging the high-rollers, and is usually too busy doing that to do his job. I have noticed this on countless occasions. Instead of muting the beggars he joins them in tagging the high-roller in hopes for a few bucks. Do you guys not pay your mods enough @Edward ? or is he just a super degen too?

 

Finally, from my experiences with Faris and from what I've seen in him handling other players is that he is very indecisive . Just today for example he warned a player for passive begging    (obviously against the rules). The player had complained feeling like he had been targeted. I responded to let him know this is common for Faris and to not let it bug him. The player then made a comment about The professionalism of Faris and that's when his decision immediately changed. Apparently the passive begging that was done 5 minutes prior is mute worthy now and the warning is out the window. Crazy eh.

 

I find it strange that one mod out of all stick out to me in this regard. I was wondering if you guys have had similar experiences with @Farisor if your experiences have been better?

today 28-03-2022 an hour ago i got muted by Faris the most unprofessional way.

Basicly someone in chat began tipping all and whole chat including me began passive begging him. 

Then Faris picked me of everybody and told me that i should not do that with a warning which resulted in me confronting him abuot why he only picked me. meanwhile now whole chat is agro begging and another person, remidient tags faris and gives a comment including calling Faris a word,which made Faris reply to Remidient and tell him to mind language.- Then i Tagged Faris and asked him why he shouldnt be allowed to say that and that Faris should be able to keep things professional and not emotional.

Now Faris act by Muting me in retrospect as the most unprofessional thing to do, and to make it clear how this mod is acting emotionally instead of professionally, he even writes right after to chat : I changed my mind.

This should not be a thing. that kinda of modding should not be allowed. There is need of oversight on mods if they can act in these ways and this is not first time Faris is picking specific stakers he dislikes and acts emotionally. 

If someone cant mod professionally and just rando do what pleases them, and also in this case actually makes it clear that u should not question anything, cause then u will be muted for something that u got warned for - something that whole chat is doing, so in fact threatening stakers to be scared of  criticizing mods, -

then stake chat can and sometimes is a bad enviroment. - like wtf is these gestapo like tactics. -

I've had issues with Faris too. 

 

and thats besides mutes that HE has given me.  A while back I made a post here about a mod passive begging. Faris came in, without knowing what its about, assumed I just got a  mute I was unhappy about (which I didnt have) and made some bitchy comment and closed the thread saying "It never happened". (Instead of actually looking at the situation).

He def has some favorites he treats nice and some people he likes less who he treats unfairly compared to others.

I Repeat Faris. im not appealing a mute. Theres no way u should remove my post. Im explaining a general issue and referring to a situation to make some points but i am not appealing a mute. - u can have ur mute on me for the hours that is left. now please put my post back 

 

This is madness. i have never in any kind of chat seen this kind of behaviour from mods and. Faris is blatantly trying to make it difficult to talk about something in the public forum, and witout me even wanting to appeal a mute, he just decides that,that is what i want

I respect your views my dear.. as for me.. its how you treat others the way they will treat you ..  the difference is ...they (mods) have the authority to keep the peace and order of the chatroom.  Faris is among them , he is just doing his task as mod . We all bond to follow the rules . Same goes to them , they have also basis on how /why they need to mute chatters .

I can see most of the time "misunderstanding " on how they perceived the "comments " or "slang words of gamblers that hint them to strike mute . Language barriers that can only understood when appeal . 

We have fault too as chatters .. sometimes due to "strong emotions " bec of ripping we unintentionally threw bad words that may lead them to mute us .

I'm sorry if you feel that way  my dear .. hope in the future you and him find ways to have "good rapport " ..

Farris has always gone above and beyond helping and assisting me find old bets which support and other mods have not assisted with or refuse to.  Farris is by far my fav mod and the most helpful imo.

Ya all y'all mods need proper training, I'm gotten a ugly response from a mod he quotes ( that I'm making something that is fare from a reality) when I stated I was almost a victim of child obduction.and i do not like being called a predator.. his or her statement was rude in so many ways for people that have been or was Targeted from those kind of people.. up till know I was silent but now I'm pissed at the comment stated my this mod!! like it's an actual reality to people that have been affected

Everyone has the right to say what they want and believe and we all have the right to say without any fear of people shutting down our views.

Hope by expressing your emotions and sentiments with regards to a mod  somehow lighten your feelings now?👍 Hope everything will be settled/solved soon between you and Faris... i can't share my experiences here thou some light observations and wonders how everything is running on chatroom. it's just small things to disregard on my part. Begging is for general ...players and stake staff are doing it.(If you insist, how can i resist? 😜) .we can not just say  yes i am a beggar but what an irony😅 mutes are only impose to players. Inspite of everything and the love they are showing to me, i still respect and love stake and all the staff❤️❤️❤️

We don't have any problems :D  In general, I don't have any problems with any user, I just do what I have to do. If they hate me for this then they can do that.

Being a moderator isn't easy, you'll get a lot of hate from the users you've muted + their friends, so no problem. First respect and rules, then other things :)

Ghostnipple, that something ive also asked about many times. Faris not the only one who done that, but i remember him doing it once, and the argument for doing it was that the customer was lying in chat. - however it seems very wrong for mods to interfere in the chat in others arguments and reveal private information of someone, to prove that he/she is lying.- after i raged abuot it several times cause i saw this happen 3 times, i havent seen it happen for a long time since. dunno if its because people complaining about it or its just a coincidence and that it might jsut happen again. 

But that shit is on another level of abuse of power. -should never happen.
