Stake robbed me (actually)

What happened today its to me is unbelieveble and I can not actually understand how this can happen. 

So I was gambling as usual, and i had 26 dollars on my account when I decided I will take a shower, when I came back there was 0 dollars at my account. 

I was like wtf, I contacted support that this is the case, and they said they cant do anything about it, its my job to keep my account secured. 

Likeeee what, I have been hacked on their site and they dont do anything about it. 

How is it really life??? 

I lost f*ckin 26$ which for me is one month of gamble money. 

Wtfffff this is outragous.

Can you properly trace back where your money went via bets history etc? Could also just of had a delayed balance that you had ripped already. Occasionally happens with original games like Plinko etc.

I doubt you were hacked - check your withdrawal history.

I checked there are no withdrawal but there are games which I never play with with amount I never play with. 

So I have been hacked to someone gamble my money away? 

Why would amyone do that? Still not my fault tho and I need compensation

lol, It's not the same thing, You had an option to put 2FA Authenticator to your account to protect your money but you didn't. You can't expect anyone to recover your loss because you didn't even protect it in the first place.

So you're saying theres bets on your account you didn't place? Have you left yourself logged in at a computer or something?

Honestly they can't do anything - if the bets were placed and not by you I'd just change my password and add 2FA. Somewhere down the line you've allowed someone access to your account. 

"I need compensation" - well then if we're using that logic everyone on Stake would say they didn't place their bets and deserve compensation.

Why do you think it's Stakes fault that somebody hacked you? Of course they will not compensate you. Secure your account, use 2FA, use your vault, don't fall for phishing emails and you'll be fine in the future.

I will also add you've said you had $26. Had a shower. Then came back to a $0 balance with bet history on games you didn't place. Somehow in such a way if you were hacked they've timed this so perfectly that it was during your shower or maybe someone you live with has decided to jump on and punt off your balance which also looks like probably the most logical scenario. 

Honestly I'd take a look at your browser history and sus if you have history on those games you never play during that time you had your shower.

Guys i dont really understand how everybody is against me in this situation, if somehow someome stole your bank details and they stole all your money would you still be this calm and relaxed. 

I live alone so there is nobody who would hop on my computer to quickly play my money away. 

What happened actually can not be my fault maybe its a 50-50 with stake but then I deserve AT LEAST half of my money

I'm just stating facts; if theres bet history on your account that you didn't place then somewhere down the line you've been phished or you've left your account logged in somewhere. Change your password and add 2FA.

Stake will not reimburse your money I'm telling you that right now. Because if so I'll be lodging a ticket myself right away and saying the last 100,000 bets on my account was made by someone else so I deserve half my money I lost back.

Thanks for the info but its totally not fair this way, I totally understand you but you have to imagine yourself at my place, I lost all my money which I hardly worked for and it was not even my mistake. Thats really though

devils advocate here.. maybe you’ve tried a slot you’ve never played at before with a higher bet cause you thought you could recreate a win someone else (in chat, on YouTube, on stream) did and you lost. You’re pissed off cause you lost your money and didn’t win anything and you thought raising a complaint with support and writing a post on the forum would get you your money back or at least get some sympathy from other gamblers. But you know the big dirty fact here is, most of us gamblers have lost or will lose 1000’s (or even that x10 maybe). Your 26 bucks I lose with one plinko ball.

 

The fact that you’re stating you went for a shower and that’s when it happened raised massive red flags cause no one could ever know you’re in the shower. Also a hacker or phisher would’ve just withdrawn that 26 bucks to his own wallet, and not gamble with it

Im not making fun, since there were several chat rules broken in a short period of time, maybe it was somebody else using your account.

Sharing personal info in a public chat, then complaining someone has access to your account (if that’s true).. you should be aware of your position on the internet. 
 

yes it is your fault.. if my wallet was stolen while I had it sitting on a table away from my view and someone took it, noones gonna reimburse me for the money I’ve lost. If I leave my keys in my car and go away somewhere and my car gets stolen, do you think my insurance will pay out? Heck no! Have a little responsibility for yourself and your personal info

Money doesn't just disappear out of someones account like that. Someone either hacked your account (possible, but pretty unlikely) or you simply gambled your money away and now you're trying to get it back which is a pretty desperate and stupid move to be honest.

Anyways, you lost $26, if you're gonna cry about that I suggest you from the bottom of my heart to self exclude yourself forever and just don't gamble anymore.

Maybe you(or stake) can check your ip logins and see if someone with a different ip adress from yours was active with your account at the time these bets were made.Actualy go to Settings/Sessions and have a look there.

Alright there were so many replies I had to write one comment in conclusion. 

Listen guys 26$ wont change my life it does not really affect me that much, yes I worked for it hard but Its not much. Luckily I am not an addict so the stakes I play with would not affect anybodys life. 

Its all about the situation here the fact that a person can be robbed on a website, thats why I want my money back beacuse it should not be legal. 

Even if I dont get my money back it wont affect me financially, i will just use another casino where I can ejoy my gambling in peace. 

For all the people who say I am lying i dont need to prove you anything
