Many players do this with the intention of manually handling the randomness and adding in a bit of personal luck into their results. From an objective perspective, this does not change the randomness involved in each of the rolls. However, there is a certain risk incurred when a player chooses to use the same client seed for subsequent rolls. The risk is that the gambling institution, in this case Stake, would be able to anticipate the client seed the player will use and adjust the result in the house's favor.
