How does seed work in stake original.

@xrflive seen many of reply and you have good knowledge of stake original I guess.

So I expect to loose certain percentage over time when I 0lay stake originals.

However there is a big gap inbetween how much I should have lost and how much I have loss on particular stake original game.

 

Here are my few questions if u can answer it will bring me some sanity.

 

1) will changing seed will reset my expected rtp in long run?

 

2) can some one else be using same seed as me ie they continue to profit and I continue to loose?

 

3) if I play long enough can I expect with in 5 percent loss of my wager (I say 5 for safe side than 2.7 percent house edge)

 

4) can I change my seed and gain the old seed again (like copy paste and keep it stored)

 

5) can I be having used seed previously (in some one have already profited on it?)

 

I have almost 105000 bets and I am down almost 15 percent of wager and it continues to keep getting bad.

What i do is just reseting the seed and continue to hunt. Seeds are randomly selected whether you reset the seed or not still it depends on your luck..

Hey @Maxbet1, I'll try to answer as much as I can.

 

1) will changing seed will reset my expected rtp in long run?

The RTP is set on the formula level, not through seed/client. While, by following the theory, every game is independent from the previous bet and the bet size, every pair of seed and client has a set of predetermined results.

This means that if I play only one stake original game, starting from the beginning, and without changing the seed, In a long run I could get on average the RTP.
If you play different originals games with the same seed, you may be lucky enough to skip some "bad nonces" and hit a 1000x quicker, or be completely unlucky and miss the 1000x with a specific nonce as you were playing Scarab instead of Plinko.

My suggestion? Stick with one seed/game. When you want to change stake original game, reset the seed with a new client.

Impossible. The server seed is a  64-character hex string, randomly generated. For a player to play with your same seed, the probability of hitting the same character combinations is so low that it is even impossible to quantify it with our human minds.

Since the RTP is applied on the formula level, yes you can expect the RTP to match your bets in a long run.

You can see all your previous seeds once you change it, but you cannot use it again (otherwise you will be able to predict every result)

105k are really not enough. When calculating the RTP, it is based on millions of bets on average. Plus the games are designed to profit the casino on the long run (not the player). Imagine you have infinite amount of money and you play the same game with infinite bets. You will never be on profit.
