Suggestion: Improve Moderator Training (ZoranR specifically)

Hello -

I would like to suggest that moderators be held to a standard, act ethically and with integrity, and be adequately trained.

This new trend of moderators that use "spam/rain-farming" in order to mute people they have a personal bias against is destroying the communal aspect of stake. Moderators contradict each other daily; what one moderator finds to be acceptable is considered mutable by another. Many users are warned multiple times of their offences prior to muting, while other users are instantly muted without the same courtesy.

The moderator I take specific issue with is ZoranR. We had several discussions where I asked him to educate me on the mutable offenses that many of my friends were suddenly guilty of so that I could avoid being muted too. ZoranR was unable (perhaps unwilling) to help me understand the rules. He continued to engage his "bros" in conversation about trivial things, and he told me to stop "abusing" him. I may be wrong in my assumption, but I thought that the moderators were in chat to aid the community and enforce rules? Unfortunately, my attempt to avoid being muted by him was unsuccessful.

I was muted for saying: "Who wants to have a deep and meaningful conversation, I need to catch rain" (this was obviously said with humor and it was interpreted that way by other users) and also for saying "I am dollar-less" (this was in response to someone else's question to me, ZoranR took this out of context) Both of the things I was muted for were said a considerable amount of time before I was actually muted. It feels like he went searching through my chat log to find anything he could to mute me. How is this acceptable?

I hope serious thought will be given to this suggestion, as I feel like it would greatly improve the Stake community. Thank you.

Dear @Tadaaa11

As you can see, i tried to answer you, tell you about the rules.

But it seems like you found it funny to question my words.

Seems like you were teasing me, in not pleasant way.

This is all i'm going to tell you.

Best wishes

I do not see how posting my chat logs shows where you tried to answer my questions? Would you mind posting your responses? Maybe that would help provide some clarity, because I am trying to tell you once again that I still do not understand what you consider to be mutable offenses, and why it doesn't seem to be enforced the same way to everyone.

For anyone interested. The topic is now locked, so I will never get to fully understand why he muted me without warning for comments made 30 minutes prior.

Fair warning to all Stakers that these are considered to be mutable offenses, and you should expect these to be applied to everyone in the same manner in which they were applied to me. :)
