If it is to avoid potantial scam, Stake should contact to owner of the account to make it change the username. As you said username is your privilege. https://stake.com/policies/terms doesn't have any rule against impersonating. They can't mute you just because your username is similar to someone else. But they can offer you to change it to something else. Even social media platforms can't do such a thing.
