I am very upset right now with Stake.

I decided to withdrawal some money to surprise my family member with lunch and they decided to send it with a ridiculously low 0.20 cent fee.... WTF?

Been 2+ hours and counting and I'm still 9 full blocks away from getting it processed... and it keeps going back even more.... By the time I get this it may be over 25 blocks!

absolutely ridiculous to charge me $2.84 "to cover the fee required to process the transaction." and then send it with again a pathetically low 0.20 cent fee...

I talked to live support nicely and asked them if they could do anything here and they are being snippy and cutting me off and saying anything else?

this is ridiculous, Great way to treat a Plat5 who is down big this month... Make him go through hell to get his $30 withdrawal.

Posting this hoping someone higher up will see this and maybe do something about it.

Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.

Stake as a whole is - for some time now - in absolute shameless money-grabber-mode.

From slashed TG-challenges over "improved" (in reality: smaller for most players) boni to quietly raising requirements for board challenges. Not to forget the desastrous "vip host PLAT 4 now, get rekt players"-move without any compensation.

Since a while now I am giving my money to other casinos, which caught up well and now offer better service overall than Stake in my opinion. Why these changes? I have no idea, but leadership obviously has decided to milk Stake for all it's (still) worth.

We have reached 4 hours!!

and 9 blocks away still :)

Might not have my money for 2 days at this rate, thanks for sending it with a 0.20cent fee way below the needed minimum.

Appreciate it... This is ridiculous man... Can't believe a company like Stake won't help me out here.

@Steve @Edward

Can you guys please help me out here and do something to make this right, I'm literally not gonna get my withdrawal for 24+ hours at this rate because of a clear system error with a super low fee....

This is the responses I'm getting on support....

Unreal lol.

What an experience, How does nobody on a crypto website know how crypto works... All agents have this response...... It's extremely clear its blocks and blocks and blocks away because of a pathetically low fee.

I called them out several times for this fee cash grab. They not once sent a btc withdrawal with a fee even close to what we pay.

Anyway, you can push the transaction via "child pays for parent" if your wallet supports this. If not you can import your seed into electrum wallet where you can use this feature.

I guess stake does not want to use money to hiring agents who understand the basics of how a blockchain works. Can't be sure if they are trolling or actually thay clueless.

UPDATE

6 hours in, still 9 blocks away......

Hopefully I'll get my withdrawal before Monday next week.. Jesus.

What a screw up this was, Cant believe with all stake gives out they won't give me something to make up for this.. This is outrageous and a clear error on their part.

Where did you make the withdrawal to? Did you send it to a wallet? I would suggest using exodus cause the funds show up in wallet before there is an a confirmation and maybe try to send it somewhere else with a higher fee. Maybe the miners will pick up on it? Assuming they would need to confirm the smaller fee transaction before confirming the new transaction made with higher fee lol. I dont know. maybe a possibility? Also google btc accelerator and posting the txid and trying to accelerate the transaction but with the free ones

I appreciate the suggestions, unfornutely it's not possible for this transaction.

The problem is stake should never be sending a transaction with this ridiculously low fee and causing this to happen, really bad.

Just holds my money hostage for 8+ hours now.

Bullshit. If the money is on the blockchain stake doesnt have it anymore.

And like I wrote before, you can use "child pays for parent" to increase the fee, but I guess you are not interested in technical stuff since it seems you dont know how basic blockchain stuff works.

Relax buddy, you don't know all the details I said it wouldn't work for this transaction.. reason being is I withdrew directly to a merchant to buy a gift card for my friends lunch.

I can't send any more funds to this address it's a one time payment.

I understand how blockchain works, not sure why your so fired up lol

Dont complain then. Who spends coins that are not confirmed yet.

Any why do you cry stake is "holding your coins hostage", because of this nonsense I wrote you have no clue.

Honestly, I always deposit doge coin. When I deposit I have the money on stake in less than 5min. However, I withdrew a couple of transactions. 1 of 1760 eur another of 980eur and the last one of 600 eur. The withdrawal for me personally, always take around 4-5h , I need the 60 confirmation to have the Balance on my wallet. But when depositing I only need 1 confirmation

This situation is inexcusable. The fee that you've been charged is so far from the true cost, even considering that there may be extra tx fees incurred by stake for moving money between intermediary and hot wallets. It's so far off the actual cost that it's egregious and they cannot be unaware of it.

In a business where every cent is scrutinised, "we didn't notice" isn't a valid or remotely believable excuse, and somebody should be held accountable if this has been happening for any length of time.

Nice one to all the people missing the point of the post 🙉🙈🙊
