ktfor57 Posted February 6, 2018 #1 Posted February 6, 2018 Hi all, In the past few days bitcoin price has fallen so much that current price is much lesser than its all time high price. The price has gone below $6000. How much uncertainty and worry is left considering the Senate Banking Committee hearing on the virtual currencies on Tuesday. Will this have positive impact on the price? What are your views on bitcoin price trend ?
Moderator maverick528 Posted February 6, 2018 Moderator #2 Posted February 6, 2018 Looks like its recovering right now. Its hard to predict future trends, crypto market is a mess in 2018 so far.

barbaris Posted February 6, 2018 #4 Posted February 6, 2018 This price frightens me. I lose money every day, but I still expect that there will be growth.

wry Posted February 6, 2018 #7 Posted February 6, 2018 There is no way to know of course but it's fun to speculate. My hope is that this starts to reverse right away, but $5000 USD would be about a 75% reversal from the all time high. That would be a lot but not as bad as some of Bitcoin's other drops. If $5000 does not hold then I'm thinking maybe $2000 which would be 90% reversal. While I do worry we've seen the last of the all time highs, I also remember the 2013 high and it took Bitcoin four years to reclaim it, but when it did, it did it in a VERY big way. Good Luck!

Speculations increase in volatile money markets and considering the price, market capitalisation, and trade volume bitcoin price movement in both directions has been more unpredictable than other cryptocurrencies. Since a few hours the price is $6000+. Hope now it goes all the way one way up. Thanks and Good luck !!
