wry Posted February 15, 2018 #1 Posted February 15, 2018 So news has broken about a fork of the litecoin blockchain, the (unoriginal) litecoin cash fork. Their website is: https://litecoinca.sh The news story that got me interested is: https://cointelegraph.com/news/litecoin-cash-another-bitcoin-bitcoin-cash-saga Frankly, I can't see why Litecoin needs a fork, it already has low fees and has never had much of a clogged block chain. They seem to think by using SHA-256 people will use their now outdated BTC mining gear. Not sure I buy it. Still free coins have me thinking maybe I should take my handful of LTC to a wallet where I can claim these. Has anyone heard anything about this? Any insights? Thanks!
Moderator ThugStream Posted February 15, 2018 Moderator #2 Posted February 15, 2018 Thanks for sharing the news Wry, For now, am already regretting selling LTC at cheap rates earlier this week. And now the fork comes up ..... Ill try to get few LTC again.... Goodluck ThugStream
bmg Posted February 16, 2018 #4 Posted February 16, 2018 thank you for the information its really good
Mazda3 Posted February 19, 2018 #5 Posted February 19, 2018 fork is now very little worth, so you can buy it, and suddenly it will be successful, then you can normally earn) thanks for the article
wilberthh Posted February 22, 2018 #6 Posted February 22, 2018 The name is a bit cool, although I don't really know what is the usage of it beside of fast transaction and low fees (which, of course, nano is better). Still, crypto is all about hype and FOMO. MIght get some of it. Thank you for sharing!
Kate Posted July 10, 2018 #7 Posted July 10, 2018 Litecoin devs said its not a fork of litecoin so in my mind its bitconnect v 2.0
