Understanding the moderator's duties is an important part of the smooth running of a debate event for this case is chat room . If you are a student or college student, you will most likely often attend debate events. In the event, the moderator's job is to control the discussion so that it can be successful. It can be likened, the moderator's job is like a referee for a sports match. If the two parties arguing are not conducive or exceed the time limit specified, then the moderator's job is to mediate and control the discussion.

Why do I want to be a moderator? that is an important question because being a moderator can fill my free time which basically I work as a tour guide for foreign tourists, too much free time for me so I need a little more busy to fill my free time, monitor and interact with my Indonesian friends on the chat room is my second activity when there is nothing to do while I am at home.

Hi there ,

My Stake username is Frankwhite and I joined Stake on the 11th of March 2019. Over the years I made 
many new friends in the Indonesian Chatroom which is more a community now rather than a chatroom.

The reason for my application now is a true reflection that I want to give back and serve the community 
members while building and maintaining the ever so important friendships made over the years. 

On an average I spend approximately 12 hours or more on Stake daily.

The responsibilities of moderator 
are actually two pronged which requires him to have a welcoming attitude towards new players 
(attentive to needs and queries if there are any) and authoritative should there be members who abuse 
the chatroom (eg: using abusive language or begging to name a few).

I do have previous experience of being a chatroom moderator on Waze and subsequently Google Maps 
editors chatroom and shortly after the takeover I was elevated to Beta Leader and the responsibilities of 
moderating were delegated to another member. 

In my humble opinion not every wrongdoing needs to be punished and at times a stern reprimand 
would suffice. Well to err is humane and likewise I myself have been muted on chat due to spamming 
for several hours.

I humbly submit my details and previous experience for your kind consideration for the post of

People who have duties as mediators (referees, judges, etc.)

The leader of the session (discussion, meeting, deliberation) who mediates at the discussion or discussion of problems

I've been a Stake member since a long time ago, and had many friends to support me to become moderator, not only because of the support I got from them, but from bottom of my heart I also want to be the part of Stake Moderator Family. I want to become a moderator that have many friends, having fun and enjoy with them in the chat, and also make sure no one afraid of me after become a Moderator. I want to change the perspective of players that Moderator is a scary person, I want to make all of them think even we're had a job going on but still we could Chat like usual.
