Why is everyone freaking out for monthly on 5th? It would be too late to wager decently.

because the last monthly was August 8th, it is usually 30-40 days after till the next one.

Usually. But also December monthly was on 1st and January was about mod month. That makes more than 50 days.

lol you really want to go into details. 

December what was the reason for December 1st? There was a Christmas 25 days promotion event. Jan was mid month because it return back to regular timeline. 

Please consider if there was any promotion event that would affect the monthly date.

Also based on your initial comment, you are saying that it is too few days from last monthly to the next monthly (coming up) for everyone, that it should be mid month (15th) so we can all wager more to have a better monthly bonus. 

August 8th was an early monthly bonus because of Stake Birthday, So people are assuming maybe with another promotion going on 5 million race, it would be another early monthly bonus date also.

Generally bigger.

But if in one month you wager a lot the first week and get a huge weekly then wager nothing the next weeks do not expect a big difference between that weekly and monthly.
