Teebee89 Posted September 25, 2022 #1 Posted September 25, 2022 I don’t know how to look everything up but I know there are some number crunchers on here. My question is how can I figure out the odds of hitting the only bomb on low risk on mines back to back and it being the same tile? Can anyone help figure that or come close to what the odds are? Thanks
jungl3 Posted September 25, 2022 #2 Posted September 25, 2022 The odds don't change for it being the same tile.. it's a 1 in 25 each time (4%) The fraction is 1/25. Change it to a decimal and it's 0.04. 0.04*0.04=0.0016 0.0016x100 =0.16 0.16% chance of losing 2 in a row. Or 25x25=625 100/625=0.16% 1 in 625 chance, although each roll is independent of the last, so somehow that doesn't matter and it's provably fair, so fuck you™ These things happen far more often than it seems they should on stake originals. Or at fortuitous moments for stake, but not for the player. It's up to you if you put it down to bad luck or something else. If you complain about it, somebody is always likely to turn up and say you're a sore loser, and "that's gambling bro". A few people here seem quite dedicated to doing that.
