Mazda3 Posted February 22, 2018 #1 Posted February 22, 2018 An unknown hacker (or a group of hackers) got access to Tesla's account on Amazon cloud and used it to clear the crypto currency. Researchers of the department of cyber security company RedLock found traces of hacking last month. Tesla's credentials were on the administrative IT console, not protected by any password. The Kubernetes console, a Google software application, helps system administrators manage virtual machines known as containers. Hackers got access to this console and launched from it a script for mining digital coins with the help of software for mining called Stratum. The researchers reported that they can not say with certainty how many crypto currencies they managed to get to intruders.
