The Mod Who mutes you clearly shouldn't handle your appeal!

@Eddie@MikeyBasic and common sense says that the person handing down the disciplinary action is very unlikely to admit that they're wrong. Clearly any third party , anybody that did not hand down disciplinary action, even though they're going to be biased for their friends and colleagues regardless, should handle the appeal. This is ethically right. For instance one moderator can permanently mute or ban somebody. Then go on to the Stake formum and remove their appeal and ban them from the forum. I know somebody this has happened to. They can't even appeal the bogus perma mute! If they said anything about it on Twitter they got banned there, and if they said on anything about it on the forum they were permanently banned  well. I know this is a casino. And you know we don't always get what we want but we do invest a lot a lot of money into this company as customers. And we deserve fair treatment. Is not fair for a moderator to mute you for oftentimes very petty or misunderstood things. Many people will agree that they have been muted for things that they shouldn't have been muted for. It's a shame to find out that whenever you appeal the same person that handed down that mute ,who is very unlikely to admit they're wrong,is the person that makes the decision on whether or not your appeals granted. This needs to be addressed. As in any level management of a business where there is a system of disciplinary actions put in place for behaviors. The judge cannot also be the jury and the executioner!

Bro and it'll keep happening... Imagine a cop arrests you for something writes the arrest report. And then is responsible for trying you. Sentencing you. And then handling your appeal. It's not that severe physically but financially it is. This shit has a huge impact on people not just being muted I'm talking about like the ability for a moderator to just permanently ban you or permanently mute you. It takes a lot of the fun out of the casino as well. All I'm saying is they should have a third party handle appeals.

The truth

Totally agree with everything you said, been saying it for over a year now. It's the most ridiculous thing, the general understanding of any appeal, is that it's independently reviewed, factually and without emotion.. But by appealing to the originator of the mute, you're basically asking them to admit they did the wrong thing in the circumstances. It can only be described as idiotic.. Appeal process needs to be reviewed for impartiality, and well, common sense.

Fuck around, won't be around 🤫🙄

Sad... In order to change you can't just sit back and walk on Eggshells... Like bro below u says it's simply unjust and counters the sole purpose of the Appeal process by its very definition.

Well if you are muted permanently from the site then the reason must be really good. I don't think they mute you without any reason as it will cost them a potential good user/amount of money.

You can always contact support even if you are muted. Also if you have any proof to defend yourself from the grounds on which you got banned, Just go for it.

Mods also makes mistakes. Sometimes they jump in the middle of conversation and without finding out just mutes whomever they finds abusing chat rules.

Just make an appeal on the forum or with the support and wait for their reply.

I'm not muted permanently. And obviously I understand that appeals process. That is not the point of my post. The point of my post is that the person that hands down the disciplinary action should not be the person that handles the appeal. By very definition it is contradictory! I said I know some of you that's permanently muted and they had a lot of proof that they were innocent. But because the person who permanently muted him was the one that handled the appeal nothing was done about it. Anyway thank you for your input.
