I received an email from what I thought was Stake, saying that I had a VIP bonus ready. I signed in and went to claim the bonus. which didn't work. After this I deposited $400 and it said that my transaction was complete, but after 45minutes of waiting I still didn't have my funds. My money was stollen and after talking with support they offered no help saying that the money was already in my account. I told them to look at my wager history to see that I never wagered the $400 and it wasn't currently in my account so how could I have it? They stole my money and Stake is either in on it or doesn't care.

Was it stake.com? If yes contact support they will help you out.

Did you check yout transaction history, and did that transaction have confirms on blockchain?

the transaction was confirmed, but I did not receive the funds. None of these were even me. I only deposited $400 and somehow someone on my account was betting $944. If support matched my balance with the bets that I was supposedly placing they would see that they dont match up

Check the email links, and confirm it was Stake real website.

check the email link and verify that its the real stake because stake doesnt need to scam anybody. Seems like you were phished into hitting a false link that somehow gave your info to the owners/hackers of the link.

@dhdkohl  did you have 2FA turned on?

Did having to log in not make you suspicious?

It's interesting, because I've seen this a few times now and it seems to be targeted at people without 2FA. There is a possibility that somebody within stake with access to that information could be phishing and stealing crypto. It always seems to be a few hundred dollars minimum.

Otherwise, maybe you've been targeted because your phone or computer is compromised or you've had similar accounts leaked that made somebody think you use stake.

Please could you screenshot the email address and the link (don't hyperlink it) from the email you received?

Easy logic that should arise suspicions:

-Stake VIP Host bonuses are given by the host on telegram or directly in your vault.

-Always check the mail. Casinos, wallets, bank... everything. Check if it's a legit one.

-If you never log out then you should not log in from random mail. Just in case you didn't check the mail. I am permanently logged in on my phone with the .bet proxy. And my phone is secured af. I know that nothing and nobody has to ask me to log in to Stake again.

Stake didn't steal your money, I am a decently old player and deposited thousands. Sometimes it bugged and showed wrong balance until I refreshed the page or showed me the crypto amount number in FIAT. But my funds never disappeared randomly. You 99.9999% got scammed.

Stake community members seem to be brain dead and just claim people are trying to get money out of stake.

Same thing happened to me. You got phished and unfortunately they most likely withdrew ur funds to their own crypto wallet/ used ur account for play.

Sorry that happened. I lost 10k when someone withdrew my funds and although there's proof and transaction history's of someone logging into my account from a different country and withdrawing my funds, stake won't do anything for you.

Make sure you enable 2FA if you continue to use stake as I haven't had any issues movie forward. Although I still receive phishing emails every now and then
