wilbur Posted February 26, 2018 #1 Posted February 26, 2018 when i was still beginner i found out that it's difficult to read articles about altcoins and bitcoin because i dont know the terms being used so i decided to created this thread (please correct me if im wrong) Whale - One of the most influential trader/s they hold most of the coins and can greatly affect the whole coin when they make a move Hodl - Hold Bubble- Denotes the current status or economy of an altcoin or bitcoin. you may encounter this statements "Bitcoin bubble popped" this means bitcoin will go down {bubble popped- going down, bubble blown starting to be pumped} Pump and dump- a state where an alt coin or bitcoin is being "pumped" going up at an impressive speed and will be "dumped" going down at an impressive speed too. (i cant find legit traders who do pump and dump, i dont know if this is illegal or not but in government economy it's illegal) If you have additional terms, you can add it here let's help
