dyli21 Posted November 9, 2022 #1 Posted November 9, 2022 Im still p1 and didnt play this week, could this be scem mail ? [email protected] is the provider
lrgnugs Posted November 9, 2022 #2 Posted November 9, 2022 i think its a scam I also just received this
Avisraj Posted November 9, 2022 #4 Posted November 9, 2022 I got the same email. But the domain is [email protected] this is the domain which stake use. How scammer use stake.com domain to send email?
girliegirl Posted November 9, 2022 #5 Posted November 9, 2022 Why we weren't informed about this. Now it is only an email adress next time it are our funds. You have a serious security issue if these things can happen.
oPartial Posted November 9, 2022 #6 Posted November 9, 2022 I'm also unsure as I have been inactive for a fair while and got the same e-mail, same time. Sent a message to support just to ask what it is otherwise I'm fairly certain it was an error sent out to every single VIP user.
Lordxx Posted November 9, 2022 #7 Posted November 9, 2022 I clicked at the link but didn't log in. Do you think anything happened and what should I do?
BOYGIRA Posted November 9, 2022 #8 Posted November 9, 2022 Is that email contains a messages like “You now have additional VIP bonusses bla bla” ?
Avisraj Posted November 9, 2022 #10 Posted November 9, 2022 I think this mail is sent mistakenly from stake.com

Lordxx Posted November 9, 2022 #12 Posted November 9, 2022 Just now, girliegirl said: correct dont give your info Are you sure it's a scam? It's using the regular stake mail server and looks legit
girliegirl Posted November 9, 2022 #13 Posted November 9, 2022 it is a scam several mods confirmed it
BOYGIRA Posted November 9, 2022 #14 Posted November 9, 2022 Okay and now important to activate 2fa + save the funds into the vault. 1 minute ago, Lordxx said: Are you sure it's a scam? It's using the regular stake mail server and looks legit As an IT practice, i said it would be happens.
AmitSomalwar Posted November 9, 2022 #15 Posted November 9, 2022 Do NOT click the link. It seems that they used [email protected] but with a capital I instead of a lowercase l, since on some email web addresses it appears the same. It's a scam email...I've already forwarded it to my VIP host and sent it to stake support. Please notify the entire community. I opened the link on an incognito window and after about 2 minutes it goes to a third party site indirectly before showing you the stake homepage and oddly requiring you to sign in. Also note the messed up grammar in the last line

Also note the messed up grammar in the last line It's not an I; it's an L. You can copy paste the address into word and change all letters for uppercase to check. The e-mail is just spoofed.

Same with me, dont worry no virus or trojan.. it was informed them that we are active with clicking that link. So, be carefull in future.
girliegirl Posted November 9, 2022 #19 Posted November 9, 2022 stake reacted in Telegram. But no word of security issue and how they were able to get all our email adresses.

So how bad could it be clicking on the link from your phone which has multi important accounts open/password saved on it?
lrgnugs Posted November 9, 2022 #24 Posted November 9, 2022 damn and here i thought my high rolling gambling problem was paying off
