Edward Craven, the co-founder of crypto gambling platform Stake.com, hosted an extravagant party at his mansion located in the upmarket Melbourne suburb of Torak, with an attendance of over 400 people. Social media influencer and OnlyFans user Annie Knight gave a brief tour of the incident in a video uploaded to her popular TikTok account. The party included extensive Halloween-inspired decorations and neon lights, a dance floor, DJs, an ‘international guest’ showcase, two bars with signature cocktails, catering, a makeup room with professional artists, and photo booths. The property, owned by 27-year-old crypto millionaire Ed Craven, is one of the most expensive in the country Annie begins the video by showing off her and her girlfriend’s costumes in front of the camera. “This is how the Halloween party at Melbourne’s most expensive house looks like,” she said. She described the incident as ‘crazy’ as she showed footage of the front of the mansion, which was covered with smoke and several red neon crosses. Annie continued, ‘When we went inside to scare us people dressed up as zombies and werewolves, and the house was decorated like crazy. The popular social media user snapped footage of the lively dance floor with attendees in their costumes before showing them off at one of the cocktail bars. “The party had a full-size dance floor, a DJ, cocktails from Nick and Nora, it was also prepared by Yakimono, and five professional makeup artists could do your makeup for you,” she said. The front of the property was shrouded in smoke and had several red neon crosses. Annie also praised Portaloo, which she called “crazy” and “better than the bathroom in my house”. She explained that property owner Ed Craven was planning to demolish the mansion and rebuild soon. The crypto magnate also bought another Turak mansion in March for $38 million. Mr. Craven co-founded Stake.com in 2017 and the company has rapidly grown to an estimated net worth of over $1 billion. His St Georges Road property, which is approximately 7,200 sqm, was last sold in 1991 for $5 million by property developer David Yu, who put it on the market in 2020. He bought the property from then-Hoyts boss Léon Fink, who built half of a French Renaissance-style mansion on the site. Mr. Craven bought another mansion in the suburban suburb of Torak in March (the entrance to the $88 million mansion in the picture) Mr Yu left it untouched for the next 31 years, but reportedly turned down several offers for it. They had planned to split the huge block into nine lots in 1992, but this was rejected by the local council. Turak is home to the heads of some of the largest companies in the world. Chemist Warehouse boss Sam Gaines paid $43 million for a house on Lancel Road in 2021. Tech entrepreneur and Kogan.com founder Ruslan Kogan is also a local after paying $38.8million to live in the area.
