that was joke

No Joke....

I posted screen grabs of live chat in their entirety instead of an explanatory post, because I couldn't explain what I was trying to say and make it believable...

Truth is indeed stranger than fiction..  lol

This is what i belive. If there is no proof of winners and payouts, it didn`t happen.

Hey.. i don`t even belive in the bonus drops anymore. 5000! highrollers who desperatly grabs $5 in secoonds? Find it hard to belive.

I started typing a list of all the promotions I could recall this has happened but stopped and reread your post and support said it best "there have been a lot of sport promotions without a visible winner list"

But seriously just because they are contacted by support they can't use control+c and copy the names and control+V to paste In a word file, or use a pen and paper? Then how did they know what names to contact? Yeah ok

I choose to think they are legit, but how hard can it be to be transparent about this? I just want stake to become better and better and these things are clearly the one thing they can improve the most about. They showed all the winner at twitter giveaway tho so props for doing that!

There are a lot of shady things about Stake but their giveaways have to be near the top of the pile. This UFC promo was just another example of zero transparency.

Pretty sure most of their ‘giveaways’ are breaking the law with how they’re run but I guess you don’t need to adhere to anything when you’re licensed out of a shack in Curacao.

Reading the forum recently, even before registering, I was surprised how interesting the Christmas promotions used to be. But now half of the calendar has passed and I see that for most players it's just crap. Most of the promotions are absolutely opaque, and most of the bonuses are taken by people who use bots or wager not for the sake of playing, but for the sake of bonuses. As for the rest, I have already written in other topics.

Of course, it cannot be said that stake.com is cheating us with shares, but it cannot be said that everything is fair.  Stake.com writes in many places that it is proud of its bonus promotions, but in my opinion there is absolutely nothing to be proud of.

$ 100,000 is a lot of money and I would like everything to be open and honest, as with many other promotions

Stakes promotions team has pretty consistently been non transparent about stuff like this and it's a shame.  There are even past promotions where they claimed a leaderboard would be posted but never did.  There's also nobody public facing that accepts responsibility for their decisions.  Really no excuse.  I feel like whoever is in charge of promotions is pretty clueless about the crypto gambling world and are giving every scam casino something to point to when they decide not to be transparent in similar situations.

@Eddiefind someone else to run promotions.

Why do you guys need the winner list?

Let's me explain:

If stake released the winner list, you know how it will affect the winner? Most of the degen/twitter e-hobo will try to find the winner and ask for tips.

There are ways to avoid that.  They could do it the same way they have a winners feed on the site, with players not opting in shown as hidden.  They could also block out most of each players name, the way another site does it.  So you and I would appear as d*******k and t**********i

I think this is reasonable.

Could it be that people faces where on the twitter? So they could be targeted for 1k ? Well that's the only reason I could see otherwise yes seems odd that there where no list

Almost all other promotions that are ran by forum staff are checked by volunteer players and the results/lists given to the staff to make the codes. Example is the King of Slots weekly VIP. The requirements to be eligible also entry with your bets visible so they can be validated.

Then there are other promotions which this falls under, the same as Stake vs. Eddie. These don't require users to enter or unhide their bets and that's because at the end of the period, staff member with access will query the entire site within that period and send email or support messages to them. These promotions differ in that regard allowing users to remain anonymous and private.

Seems shady and I understand why having been on both sides of promotions, so I think its fair that if you are upset about this list not being published, then it is a logical assumption you should be upset about many other promotions that have ran for years in a similar manner most of them on a weekly base i.e. Eddie's weekend guarantee, stake vs Eddie, conquer the casino, the level up etc. etc. and there is nothing weird going on there.
