xtinepink Posted March 14, 2018 #1 Posted March 14, 2018 Having 2fa set in your account is very important. I am currently using google authenticator. I like using it because of its simplicity, although the problem for me is that I haven’t back up they key codes so I am in trouble if I accidentally delete the app. I was wondering if others here tried using authy? What do you guys use, authy or google authenticator?

Mazda3 Posted March 14, 2018 #12 Posted March 14, 2018 I'm just afraid that my children can break or drown my phone and I will lose the bind to my account
xtinepink Posted March 15, 2018 Author #13 Posted March 15, 2018 Seems that most people really uses google authenticator.
Kargai Posted March 15, 2018 #14 Posted March 15, 2018 I'm using Authenticator for Windows. The most easiest to use (in my opinion) when you use it on a desktop computer.
ieatkdubsass Posted March 16, 2018 #16 Posted March 16, 2018 Authy doesn't work on my phone I factory reset it and it keeps teling me i'm registered lol
77kdub Posted March 16, 2018 #17 Posted March 16, 2018 I use google authenticator but you have to be careful and make sure you use the android version and not the pc version because when you restart your pc google authenticator loses all your key info you had set I had to find that one out the hard way lol
ieatkdubsass Posted March 16, 2018 #18 Posted March 16, 2018 Nah, I had android and then I switched over to iphone with the same number/sim card.
nhoyasim101 Posted March 16, 2018 #19 Posted March 16, 2018 i used google authenticator in my android, the only problem that i pictured in the future is that you need to back-up it, just in case you broke, loss,or you reset your android.
Neverever Posted March 16, 2018 #20 Posted March 16, 2018 authy. google authenticator is troublesome if you switch devices often.
Sportsbook Support Darko Posted March 16, 2018 Sportsbook Support #21 Posted March 16, 2018 Authy, had to change phone one time and it is a pain to turn 2fa off and back on on all sites.
Moderator maverick528 Posted March 16, 2018 Moderator #22 Posted March 16, 2018 Im using laptops, and I installed a program called WinAuth, works very nice.
Mackyrivera Posted March 16, 2018 #23 Posted March 16, 2018 I used Authy! i learned the value of 2fa when my wallet got hacked.. as they say learning the hard way , and i changed by password into a strong one too but i am still edgy as the memory still fresh.. well lesson learned and experience sometimes lets you pay to learn
Administrator Edward Posted March 18, 2018 Administrator #24 Posted March 18, 2018 Google Auth as its device specific. Authy stories scare me
