What do you use Google Authenticator or Authy?

Having 2fa set in your account is very important. I am currently using google authenticator.

I like using it because of its simplicity, although the problem for me is that I haven’t back up they key codes so I am in trouble if I accidentally delete the app. 

 

I was wondering if others here tried using authy? What do you guys use, authy or google authenticator?

I do not use google authenticator) I came up with a very complicated password and wrote it down) and I do not have anything to steal either)

Just complicated password might be nothing, if you will catch some keylogger malware...

I agree with you, even if they break my password - there's nothing to steal)

Honsetly you should have it activated anyways the second you win big hackers go after you

I'm using a browser integrated authenticator extension on chrome.

Seems that most people really uses google authenticator.

I'm using Authenticator for Windows. The most easiest to use (in my opinion) when you use it on a desktop computer.

Authy doesn't work on my phone   I factory reset it and it keeps teling me i'm registered lol

I use google authenticator but you have to be careful and make sure you use the android version and not the pc version because when you restart your pc google authenticator loses all your key info you had set I had to find that one out the hard way lol

Nah, I had android and then I switched over to iphone with the same number/sim card.

i used google authenticator in my android, the only problem that i pictured in the future is that you need to back-up it, just in case you broke,loss,or you reset your android.

Authy, had to change phone one time and it is a pain to turn 2fa off and back on on all sites.

I used Authy! i learned the value of 2fa when my wallet got hacked.. as they say learning the hard way , and i changed by password into a strong one too but i am still edgy as the memory still fresh.. well lesson learned and experience sometimes lets you pay to learn
