GhostPirate Posted December 16, 2022 #1 Posted December 16, 2022 Hello everyone! Recently I've been reading the topics about provably fairness on Stake and as far as I could understand, all game results are predefined by the pair of seeds and the system does not memorize your moves (to, taking mines as an example, place the mines where you click the most). I also understood that the bet amount does not influence the results either. That said, the only thing that should influence would be the probability of reaching the multiplier chosen by the player. However, whenever I watch videos of autobet strategys I notice a big streak of losiess after a while (see the dips in both images). Following the explanation against the gambler's fallacy, past results do not influence future ones and just as several consecutive losses do not mean that the next rounds will be wins, sequences of wins should also not imply in large sequences of losses, which makes me question if it really is only the probabilities that influence and that the system's algorithm does not memorize the moves and give you some wins in order to take all the profit back later. If you know about provably fairness, seeds and algorithms, please, help me! Thank you so much!
trecero1 Posted December 31, 2022 #3 Posted December 31, 2022 Always wondered if randomness is capable of producing a graph like the one on your second image. Don't have a clue but would be interesting to hear if somebody does.
trm1989 Posted December 31, 2022 #4 Posted December 31, 2022 i dont really think it have anything to do with not fair or something ... but yeah mine can be devastating
desporadox Posted January 7, 2023 #5 Posted January 7, 2023 Whenever I go and play mines, it gives me several wins. But in a point, it turns off and I hit the mine (3mines) in under 5 clicks(diamonds) most of the time 10 times b2b. This can't be fair I think.
sobeitup Posted February 18, 2023 #6 Posted February 18, 2023 mines is my favorite game but its also most toxic, point is in fairplay the game has 1 half the seed you have the other half and then they line up together to = same outcome = fairplay. its random 1-25 x # of mines u picked. lately i have thought that its a seed roll per click but have not verified that, but jeez i agree with the auto loose picks
