Mazda3 Posted March 14, 2018 #1 Posted March 14, 2018 The television network Playboy TV has announced the addition of a new payment method that will allow customers to pay for exclusive content for adults using crypto currency, CoinDesk reports. Initially, the company will accept the crypto currency of Vice Industry Token (the "token of the industry of vice", VIT) - the corresponding initial offer of coins has already started and will last until the end of next week. It is noted that later on the site will support other (as yet unnamed) "leading" coins. As White Paper says, paying for adult content is only part of the functionality that will be incorporated into VIT. The creators also plan to use the coin to track the real involvement and interest of the spectators in the various channels in the locker room. In Playboy TV noted that users will be able to view, comment and vote for the original content using VIT. The initiative could be the first time that a large television company starts accepting crypto-currencies as payment. "Against the background of the popularity of alternative payment instruments and the coverage of Playboy digital platforms continue to grow around the world, we decided that we need to provide 100 million additional subscribers with additional flexibility in payment issues," said Playa Ribas Patel, commercial director of Playboy Enterprises. Playboy also added that in the future the company plans to integrate the crypto-currency purse with other business areas, including games, as well as projects in the field of augmented and virtual reality.
