Kargai Posted March 14, 2018 #1 Posted March 14, 2018 Coinbase opened a real bank account in the UK, meaning he can now have access to FPS (Faster Payments Scheme in UK). Apparently the deal was made with the Barclay's bank and Coinbase also received an official e-money licence in the area. They are trying to expand in Europe and for a good reason : in 2017 their Euro market grow twice as fast as any other ones, especially in the UK. The good news is for UK residents who will be able to withdraw and deposit more fastly on the website. It also mean that they'll can withdraw directly from cryptos to Pounds instead of doing crypto => euro => pound since they are now able to skip the SEPA step.
