Usually the Ref or a player is paid off and they can only do so much to try to fix the match in 1 direction, it doesn't always work out. Also with these 'scams' they need money put on the other side, to ensure the best odds on the fix side, so you have to be very careful you aren't caught on the wrong side. Ultimately I absolutely would not trust anything you are being told about fixed matches unless you can 100% trust the source, which is probably never the case. If you want to bet sports, just bet on major league games, throw in some parlays and have some fun. Avoid random sports and low league matches for the most part.
