Mazda3 Posted March 17, 2018 #1 Posted March 17, 2018 The British online banking service provider and bitcoin-purse operator Wirex has announced the launch of contactless crypto-currency debit cards that will be made available to residents of Southeast Asia and Japan in the second quarter of 2018. This is reported by Bitcoin.com. As the source notes, holders of Bitcoin-cards from Wirex can easily convert digital money into various fiat currencies, including the Singapore dollar, the British pound, the euro and the dollar. Security of payments will be guaranteed by 3-D Secure technology. The latter implies one more step of authentication, allowing the retail outlets and banks to additionally verify that the payment is made by the cardholder. "Wirex provides Asian residents with the first-ever multi-currency accounts and cards for spending money from converting crypto-currency, making daily spending much easier. Our cards are great for shopping in shops, on the Internet and for withdrawing money from ATMs, "Pavel Wireve, CEO of Wirex, said.
