They at least allow it and take what 10% ish? I agree it could be less if you cash it out within the first 5 minutes due to a mistake then after 5 minutes it is 10%. That would maybe be fair.
Snickers Posted January 22, 2023 #3 Posted January 22, 2023 Yeah at other site you are getting charged 2-5%. The above 10% here are way too high.
XeroF Posted January 22, 2023 #4 Posted January 22, 2023 Should be 0% before match start def, just greed by provider not to have it like that. They should switch provider for sure.
crisulu Posted January 22, 2023 #5 Posted January 22, 2023 Take note that odds also may change prematch. Let's suppose that Rublev had 1.8 while I placed it. 5 minutes later the odds switch to 1.85 because of many plausible reasons. I cashout 100% and bet again on 1.85 or the cashout should be dynamic with the odds? Let's say 97.23% for that 2.77% rise in odds. Take a 100 stake. 100x1.80= 180 97.23x1.85=179.88 Those numbers are rounded indeed.
thejunespirit Posted January 22, 2023 #6 Posted January 22, 2023 The other book I use offers a pre match 1:1 cash out every time (if the odds haven’t changed). Stake’s cash out feature is frankly disgusting, horrendous value. Very funny how they even offer you a lower cash out amount when the match is over before it’s settled.

There are sites that don't even allow you to cashout full stop, so how can you say it is disgusting and horrendous?

What kind of books don’t allow cash out in this day and age? Stupid comment you braindead moron. Saying that, Stake’s cash out offering is so horrendous they would be better off without it. Fact is sports bettors should not use Stake for a variety of reasons, and the cash out is one of them. UFC is the only area where they’re actually worth using.

Disagree. 10% vig to cashout is high, definitely agree could be less and they should allow 1:1 for the first x minutes so mistake bets could cashout without being punished. Sure, but that is another issue. There are better sportsbooks definitely.

Sometimes in a shady way. I often find myself in a position where I click cashout and it says error "cashout failed". If in the next seconds the cashout gets higher I magically see my bet cashed out and the money in my wallet with the previous amount even if clicked the button a few seconds ago and it gave me error. If it gets lower it simply doesn't cashout. Which for the system means: The bet actually goes good? Gonna tent to cashout automatically with the sum that was available the last time. The bed goes bad? Ain't gonna try to cashout the last try, the dude must lose the full stake. I may be biased, wrong... but I've seen this happening too many times in the past months. And this happens to me with CSGO and tennis where odds change frequently and a simple round or game can drastically change the match.
