Spykeliggy Posted January 30, 2023 #1 Posted January 30, 2023 I have deposited 3+ Ethereum to my self excluded account accidentally, and live support does not let me withdraw my funds.
ilovestakee Posted January 30, 2023 #2 Posted January 30, 2023 You sure because if your self excluded you can only withdraw they wont even give your a address to deposit.... likewise you can still login but can only withdraw and not deposit
Spykeliggy Posted January 30, 2023 Author #4 Posted January 30, 2023 Just now, Xylber said: You can login and withdraw it It says account is disabled, so I just contacted live support and they are telling me to wait for 45+ weeks.

Ah, you are right. Self-Exclusion doesn't let you login in your account until the time you set up is completed (1, 2, 5 years). The other option is "Break in Play", this option let you log-in and withdraw your balance.
thejunespirit Posted January 30, 2023 #6 Posted January 30, 2023 I’m pretty sure the point of a self exclusion is that you don’t use the site, not just that account. Then again, these crooks surely can’t hold your money.
stuckmojo Posted January 30, 2023 #7 Posted January 30, 2023 How do people this dumb have so much money to blow.
Xylber Posted January 30, 2023 #8 Posted January 30, 2023 "During a period of Self-Exclusion you will not be able to login or use your account and any unsettled bets will be cancelled. It will not be possible to re-open your account for any reason, and Stake will do all it can to detect and close any new accounts you may open." In the side note, not my business man, but if you self-excluded respect your own decision! You did it for a reason, just forget about the site and come back later. I play here since 2017 and I always being able to withdraw, so don't worry.
mahony Posted January 30, 2023 #9 Posted January 30, 2023 maybe ethereum goes to 10k in a year so consider that deposit as an investment .In another order, I don't understand why you exclude yourself, this does not necessarily stop you from gambling it's more an illusion
jungl3 Posted January 30, 2023 #10 Posted January 30, 2023 It should be sent back, minus the $3 transaction fee or whatever it currently is. I'd make some noise on twitter and post a complaint at askgamblers. They've no good reason to hold onto your money. A few people saying it's safe - yeah, until it isn't. Losing 3 eth because you fucked it into dice is one thing, but losing 3 eth because a law changes or stake is shut down in the next 45 weeks.. that's not an acceptable risk to anybody with any sense.
girliegirl Posted January 31, 2023 #12 Posted January 31, 2023 how long ago was this ? If it is within 2 weeks you have the right for something called "herroepingsrecht". Since you haven't used anything of it and Stake didn't deliver what you asked for according to Curacao law they are entitled to give it back to you. Send an offical email where you ask the refund and copy in the Chamber of Commerce in Willemstad. If no response go to the free legal advice in Willemstad they will take the case for you. Above checked with law office Tr** La**** Willemstad.
Flo90 Posted January 31, 2023 #14 Posted January 31, 2023 I agree that you should get it back (minus the transaction fee). Write support again and explain your situation.
Big Dallas Posted January 31, 2023 #15 Posted January 31, 2023 Yes, the best thing is to write to support and explain to them the situation. They are bound to give you back the fund or access to the account.
youcheckibet Posted January 31, 2023 #16 Posted January 31, 2023 Yeah this won't be an issue if you speak to Stake about it.
Hamil14 Posted January 31, 2023 #17 Posted January 31, 2023 Is this even possible ? lul ! I thought self-excluded is you permanently deleted your account.
