Hello to the community,

it has recently come to my attention that the stake original HiLo has been displaying the profit wrong all this time!

As you all know, Hilo is a 1% edge game. For example, if you click equal on a Ace, it will pay 1/odds x rtp = 1 /(1/13) 0.99 = 12.87x.

However, any subsequent ace drawn shown should be displayed as 13x!

Lets see this in action:

First card, shows profit to be 12.87x, all good. However, if you do get an ace it shows you this:

Says 1.07 higher or 12.87 lower hmmmmm how weird. Because the payout for Ace followed by Ace isnt 12.87x12.87 it is in fact 12.87 x13 = 167.31x But according to the displayed profit, it would be 165.63x.

Now every single card in the deck has that same issue, it displays the right payout for the first card, but all wrong for subsequent ones!

My suggestion would then be to display the correct multiplier after the initial card.

This issue comes from the fact that the rtp was already calculated in the first card, no need to calculate for the subsequent ones. Having 2 aces in a row is odds 13x13 = 169, payout with 0.99 rtp is then 169x0.99 = 167.31.

But since rtp was already calculated for the first card in the hilo game, (13x0.99)x13 = 167.31 it already has been calculated. Therefore it should be obvious that any subsequent card be the true odds multiplier.

Here are some of the corrected values:

For first card       | For subsequent cards

A - 1.07x higher  | 1/(12/13) = 1.0833x

A - 12.87x equal  | 1/(1/13) = 13.0000x

10 - 1.29x lower  | 1/(10/13) = 1.3000x

10 - 3.22x higher | 1/(4/13) =  3.2500x

8 - 1.61x lower     | 1/(8/13) = 1.6250x

8 - 2.15x higher    | 1/(6/13) = 2.1667x

Therefore we should be seeing:

Allowing us to calculate total profit x decision = true profit.

Thoughts? Do you agree that hilo profit multiplier is flawed and should be fixed?

EDIT ::::

HERE IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE TO SHOW THE DISCREPANCY:

Capture1.thumb.PNG.ddffa40b811322c7c17997e15645e88e.PNG

Here is a bet of 0.001 busd; we can see the profit be calculated correctly.

Capture2.thumb.PNG.ad693375f26d894ac4f4f739135c00bf.PNG

I clicked lower, and so the total profit is 0.00017. That's fine. Now it says that if i click on profit higher i will get 1.84x and a total profit of 0.00017 + 0.0098113 = 0.00115113 and multi of 1.17x1.84 = 2.1528x right?

Capture3.thumb.PNG.f38aee2503abcfd6bdc0697b255d0769.PNG

OOPSIE! total profit shows as 0.00117286 and the multi is 2.17 ??? Therefore the previous slide was showing wrong as the 7 should have shown 1/(7/13) = 1.857x. And yes, 1.17x1.857 is indeed 2.17x !!!
