KamenValev Posted February 24, 2023 #1 Posted February 24, 2023 Hey, I want to start a discussion about smth that many people don't believe in - the psychological when gambling. I will tell u a story I will always remember - I use to work at land-based casinos in my country for like 10 years and I have been through the lowest to almost highest possible position there, so, I mean saw almost all possible styles of gambling people. I can conclude 1 thing (on the side that the casino always wins) - we all should play for fun!!! The Story - we had players, a couple around 60 years old, very polite, good-looking for the years, I mean intelligent people. So, they were coming like 1-2 times per month and always playing poker (Caribbean, Russian or texas ultimate) and to be honest (I haven't counted how many times they were winning) I believe they were winning like 7-8-9 times from 10 (my experience shows that is opposite). So, once I was a dealer and asked him: "hey, I believe that u are winning more than usual, I mean how the f*uck u are doing it so?" He smiled and said: "hey, I am not here to win money, I am here to relax from my everyday" WOW, this guy do not think about the money when was coming to the casino... Frankly, I was trying this strategy many times but looks like it is not enough just to think about it but to accept such an attitude at the casino at 110% Guys, what do u think about it - can we win more often at the casino if we play for fun (in that case we will have to play not for the big money in my eyes)?

When you start feeling frustrated, angry and wherever emotion while playing and losing, you are more likely to make mistakes, redepo and losing ever more. If you can go to any casino, play, win or lose and accept your loses, thats the best outcome. If you having fun while doing so even better, but at the end of the day 95% of people will always try to make money.

If you're gambling responsibly you will lose a lot less, but if you get angry at your losses and chase them, you will lose more, at the end of the day, casino always wins, the question is just how much are you going to give them.

veeserion Posted March 22, 2023 #12 Posted March 22, 2023 There is no such thing as strategy to winning in casino games. Every game you play in any casino is designed for you to lose in the long run. A win here and there is nice, but you have to control your emotions and greed when playing (just to keep you from losing all of your money). People also have to be reminded that you are playing games to be entertained and not earn money (the money aspect of these games is just to include thrill when playing). tldr: Don't play if you're expecting to 10x your money (YOU HAVE A HIGH CHANCE OF LOSING THAT DEPOSIT)

Our heart pounds at 1000bpm everytime we are down. If a millionaire gambles, looses and says he plays for fun i may bilieve it. Otherwise open your eyes and be honest. We all play to make money, we all chase loses and stake knows that and riggs the games. You will make money ONLY when you stop.gambling and utilize this money smart. There are other ways to hit your adrenaline to.the limits but certainly not gambling. With gambling you can hit your stress to thw limita of course. Easy.
