kaitlinanson Posted March 10, 2023 #1 Posted March 10, 2023 My friends account (Gamerdaver) was disabled couple months ago now with no response from "stake legal team" Claimed reason: "threats of suicide" after he said "goodbye world" in chat... Apparently when they tried to post here, someone named faris banned their forum account almost instantly and deleted other people's replies? Support email told them to email some unchecked "stake legal team" at [email protected] LOL something like that. They have over $450 in affilate funds they didn't get to claim or get a chance to cash out what they have in their wallet or even use their vault.. nothing. Doesnt the site specifically state stake will never prevent withdrawals or claiming bonuses? I know eddie has stated that multiple times on live stream. It sounds so ridiculous that almost nobody believes them at first when they tell people what happend. Apparently he talked to a long time stake employee and some other mods on telegram that said they dont think he should've been banned for that and even sent him his logs because he was so confused. This is really concerning because it seems like theres no system in place to correct bad decisions of mods that do not understand english well enough to have that level of power at their discretion. Ive seen the emails and noone bothers to try to help him. Do you guys conciser saying "good bye world" after "ugh fml $-680 gone so fast.. wanna die now lol" in chat "threats of suicide" like it claims? It would be one thing if they said something like "im going to kill myself if i dont get some of this money back" or soemthing like that. Hell, even saying that on the internet wouldn't be taken seriously.. thats sarcasm. If someone was saying stuff like that for more than one or two messages, then yeah.. get them out. But dont DISABLE their account... Put them into withdraw only mode like eddie claims they do? I just feel so uncomfortable with what my friend experienced... It feels illegal almost. Its definitely immoral and shady behavior. But it doesn't make sense why eddie would allow things like that to happen when he goes the extra mile to try and make Stake casino as legitimate and mainstream that he can... So.. do you think the right people just dont know those situations are happening? Or do you think its actually some kind of scam run by either the casino or a select few employees, or do you think Stake did the right thing? Afterall, they never threatened anything let alone suicide...
kaitlinanson Posted March 13, 2023 Author #2 Posted March 13, 2023 Was this to long for anyone to bother?
taysh075 Posted March 13, 2023 #3 Posted March 13, 2023 There should be systems in place for issues to be discussed/examined. This sounds like they aren't really even looking into it at all. Saying that, your friend saying "want to die now" (even with the lol) and then "goodbye world" is suggestive of suicide. People can't really tell what is a joke when it's written and suicide isn't something to really joke about. It incites concern from others and shouldn't be a worry for others on an entertainment forum (or any forum really). It's kind of like threatening harm to someone else - you just don't joke about it. Still, there should be someone to contact regarding this. Your friend should be given a warning, timeout and then allowed back. If they decide not to reopen his account, he should receive all his deposits/balance back.

But it said "threats of suicide" but if you look up the definition of a threat.. saying "goodbye world" isnt even close to a threat . More just goofy and kinda stupid. But apparently he was in the middle of typing he was just kidding and thats just how gambling goes sometimes... He was banned inbetween sending last msg and typing it out. Even if that was a mutable offense, it definitely doesnt warrent a ban and disable him from withdrawing his funds or claiming his bonuses. He never even got a warning or a message from support asking about it or giving a warning... They just banned a 2 year regular with the click of a button at the blink of an eye... Isn't this agaisnt the law? They claimed they risk breaking laws if they unban him... Like what? I see people saying far worse messages in chat all the time I think you can still find his locked forum post by searching "Gamerdaver"
Ihartu19 Posted March 13, 2023 #5 Posted March 13, 2023 if you feel its wrong write your concern to their email.
oPartial Posted March 13, 2023 #7 Posted March 13, 2023 Making jokes of suicide over losing money seems pretty straight forth in a ban. He shouldn’t continue collecting affiliate rewards either. Don’t joke about things that shouldn’t be joked about; especially when people who may have lost more money or in worse positions could be seeing those messages.
Coll1d33 Posted March 13, 2023 #8 Posted March 13, 2023 If saying "goodbye world" after "ugh FML.. I wanna die now lol" isn't considered threats of suicide, then what is? They can't possibly see how he's actually doing since he's behind a screen and all they have the base it off of is his messages which directly imply suicide. Plus many people who are suicidal don't even speak up about it so the fact that he said something is already a red flag. Seems fair imo.
dejanbg Posted March 13, 2023 #9 Posted March 13, 2023 Classic robbering. Thats criminal. Try to contact some Authorities. Interpol, department for Cyber criminal or something similar
