That is just mind boggling to me. We in Bosnia barely do that. As a matter of fact, we order new ones to be made by measures. If we're moving to apartment/house we bought/built/own. If you're renting the apartment, then the kitchen is always already there bought and installed by apartment owner. Can't imagine that Germans that earn 5-10x more on average than Bosnian people, take kitchen with them
