So it's been many times the random generator has landed on the page I post and I seem to never be selected for the giveaway?

 

 

Can somebody explain how the person is selected for the forum giveaway?

 

 

Also, is it wrong to ask?

i have never entered to any giveaway before,  i don't think about to enter in future too so i don't know,  running behind giveaway wagering and waiting for bonuses is waste of time

Untrue, certain people get picked often. If it was random and based on luck it would be a lot more fair.

Yeah I thought it was random but seems like there might be some criteria like activity in the forum here. I heard that mentioned before

Could be, or could not be. Most likely the activity on forums isn't one of the criteria

In one of the streams one of the mods said they look at forum activity. But since it’s like 8 people picking I’m sure it’s different

It’s not pure luck, and it’s not just forum activity, it’s whatever the people picking want, and that is not fair. Want to make it fair? Make it random.

I hear you, not trying to say it's only one thing, but it seems that there really is no specific criteria except what the people picking want like you said. So yeah it would be nice to have some fairness to it. Also, with so many pages now it's super unlikely you will win... The more I'm on the forum lately though makes me realize so many of us are having the same frustrations and we arent alone.

I was picked by total randomness. Randomness = luck 😅

It was never intended to be random. If that was the intention, they would randomly generate the page number AND the post number on that page. Instead they have people choosing. 
 

Can’t really complain that’s it’s not random because they are making it obvious that they don’t want it to be.

If you are platinum 4 or above you have slightly better chance of winning if your host gets the page you are on. It doesnt mean you wont win if you are lower level, there will be many winners, its also random. All in all, there are thousands of people participating and not all can win. Its all a matter of luck and chance.

Hoping it's luck but the assigned mod usually chooses who wins

just pure luck, since the people who pick the posts are human, try being different to catch their attention and maybe increasing your chances on being picked

well sometimes its all about luck . t hen again sometimes the host got some of their players too on that number but at the end of the day just try and try and i bet u will get pick sooner or later
